So a couple of months ago, the DH decides that he wants to spend some serious dollars to get wall-to-wall carpeting in the house. I'm ambivalent, but agree. There was some serious disagreement on the carpet to get (he wanted one that was beautiful, but about 30% more than the one I chose). Jokingly, I said that if he got to pick the carpet, I wanted a trip to WDW! A month later, his carpet choice was being installed and I was planning a trip for February 2013:banana:

Although we've both been to the park before - him as a child and both of us a few times about 10 years ago while visiting family in Florida, neither of us has ever stayed on property before. This is a "bucket list" trip for both of us.

My employer is going through some reorganization and although my job is pretty secure, we might be merging with another (city government) department in December, which would throw any planned vacations out the window. So we had to move the vacation to fall of 2012. We had been planning on renting DVC points and staying at either OKW or BLT, but the last minute change of dates thew the budget into chaos and we're now booked at All Star Movies for the week of 10/14/2012. DH is actually more excited to stay here. I keep getting emails at work telling me that he better get a room in the Love Bug building "or else!"

We're from Philly, so probably driving down and arriving Sunday afternoon. Checked crowd calendars and touring plans, figured in the food/wine festival @ Epcot and the Halloween party @ MK (that we won't be attending) and came up with the following:

Sun - check in, maybe a little Epcot, depending on how we feel
Mon - AK
Tues - Epcot
Wed - rest with MK for evening parade & fireworks
Thurs - MK
Fri - HS
Sat - breakfast then hit the road home:sad1:

Sun - no plans yet.....
Mon - lunch @ Yak & Yeti, dinner @ Sanna
Tues - lunch @ Rose & Crown, dinner @ Chefs de France
Wed - need an out-of-park lunch suggestion; dinner @ California Grill
Thurs - lunch @ Liberty Tree Tavern; need a dinner suggestion @ either Boardwalk or Downtown Disney
Fri - no lunch plans yet; dinner @ Brown Derby

I love the planning part of it :cool1: then before you know it your coming home.:sad1: Sounds like your off to a great start!

Sounds fun. Can't wait to see what you fill in the missing meals with.
