This will be our first time @ SSR I have a 5YO DD. Is there somewhere special I should request as far as rooms?

Are there any extra special activities for the kids here?

Thanks in advance:cheer2:

There's a ton of activities for kids at SSR. If you search down through this forum, there was a post within the last week with a list of all the SSR activities in July.

As for location, it depends on what you want to be near -- we picked the Springs section so we could be close to the main pool, Artists' Palette and Community Hall (where lots of the kids activities are). We had a great vacation there, but only 2 nights at SSR - wish it had been longer!

We really like the Congress Park section w/views of Downtown Disney. We found the walk to the main pool and food not bad at all. The resort is large and quiet...very restful. There are activities at Community Hall and often a lot of pool games w/prizes. The pool is great...a lot of fun for the kids, while being very compact so you are not constantly swiveling your head around to supervise!! Have a great trip.

Which pool would you recommend for two adults traveling without their kids who would like a little more quiet atmosphere? I hear there is a new pool? Thanks! :)
