first time seeing DL fireworks

it is our first trip to DL - thinking of doing Fantasmic dessert package night 1 and staying in that spot to see the fireworks...if there are 2 showings of Fantasmic do they let you stay there or do they move you along AND is the view OK from that area for our first viewing or is Main Street with castle the way to go for the first time?

Yes, you can stay and watch the fireworks from Fanstasmic area. However...in front of the castle is the place to be (if you can get your family to wait) I have done so exactly once and it is truly magical.
