Yes, this will be my first time doing a review. I love the food porn here on the Dis so it's the least I could do for all you other addicts out there! I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do.

Thanks for joining in you guys! First I will go ahead and apologize for our first day of dining, I seem to have lost some pics. We spent our first day at DAK. We had Cs lunch at the Yak and Yeti window. My Dd had the crispy honey chicken. It reminded me of Mcdonalds chicken nuggets but with all white breast meat. It had some carrots, onions, broccoli and a very mild sweet sauce. I thought it was ok but I loved what Dh ordered. Dh had some type of beef with peppers and onions. It had a little spicey kick to it that was perfect. ( i cant remember the name of it) I shared with both of them. They were huge portions and it filled all three of us up.

We had Chocolate cake and a chocolate chip cookie for our dessert.

For dinner, we went to Chef Mickey's. Check-in went smoothly and we only waited about 5 minutes to be seated. They sat us in the back room and the character interaction was not as good as the last time we dined there. The food was not as good as last time either. There was a very minimal selection on the buffet. I would have to say the best thing there was the meat carving station and the dessert bar. Dh said the prime rib rib was a little overdone but I had ham and it was delicious! Again I am sorry about the pics... It will get better after day 1, I promise!

This was DD's plate of roasted potatoes, green beans, Mickey's cheese ravioli w/ marinara sauce, parmesan mashed potatoes w/ gravy. She commented on how hard and cold the roasted potatoes were. She liked the mashed potatoes very much tho. Overall I am not going back to this buffet anytime soon.

Day 2 was way better than day 1! It was our MK day and we had ADR's for the Plaza Restaurant for lunch and ADR's for Jiko for dinner. We had a CS breakfast at the ASMu food court.
For breakfast I had the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant. It was very good. The croissant was hot and fresh as well as the eggs. The bacon was crispy just the way I like it.

Dd had an omelet that was prepared when ordered. It had ham, cheese, green peppers, and onions. It comes with breakfast potatoes but after those the night before she decided on not having them. She thought the omelet was delicious and it filled her up.

Our lunch at the Plaza was great!!! It was very crowded. Check in was good all except for some RUDE lady that just had to break in front of everyone waiting to be checked in. She was so mean to the CM at the podium. I really wanted to TKO her but I was in Disney and I decided to be nice. Anyway the food, the food, I almost forgot! We waited for about 10 minutes before being seated. Our server was very prompt, took our drink orders and gave us a few minutes to decide what to have. I had the cheesesteak sandwich. It was really good. Bread was fresh, hot and toasty. The steak was very tender and full of flavor. It came with german potato salad or fries. I ordered the fries, obviously. They were hot, fresh and crispy as well.

DH and DD had the cheeseburgers w/ fries. They were very pleased with their decision. The burgers came with any topping you wanted including grilled onions and mushrooms. Again bread was fresh and the meat did not seem like the usual frozen patties that you normally get at Disney.

Oh and I have to give props to their pickles!!! Sooooooooo good. Ok moving along DD ordered a vanilla shake with her meal and it was HUGE I tell you! It was enough for me, DH and DD. Very delicious. It was made w/ vanilla bean ice cream, the kind that grandma used to make. Perfect-o!!

We did not order dessert this time around. Way too full. I would give this restaurant an A+. I WILL be going back!:thumbsup2
Stay tuned folks for dinner at Jiko!
