First time Priceline Success!

We are all off the first week in April due to school break.

We just weren't sure what to do, because even though I'm not working, and the kids aren't in school.. I still have college courses to attend!

So anyway, we decided to go to Washington DC for a long weekend.

We were kicking around a hotel with the internet rate of $189/229 a night. We thought that was too high, so we decided to try priceline.

We got the same hotel, for over $100 less per night!


We are so excited! Due to these savings, we are able to extend the stay to three days instead of two!

Congrats Cindy. I've had to forfeit the last two Priceline rooms that I've reserved. My fault once (I got the room WAY too early) and the black ice's fault for the other one (I knew that I should have paid the extra $5 for trip insurance).

Glad to see that you saved some major bucks.

Cindy -- What did you get? We've been very pleased with all our priceline experiences except one. I was afraid to do it for Washington because I wanted a place with safe, secure parking. We may go this summer, though, and I sure hate to pay regular rates.

The Grand Hyatt, near the Converntion Center.

We've been there before for a conference, and they have underground parking (at least last time I was there)
