first time point renter, needs advice

I have an existing reservation at FQ with all my dining reservations done under that reservation. since making that reservation I've rented points and am staying at SSR ( very excited to stay at a DVC resort)

Question: Can I transfer my dining reservations to my SSR reservation number if I call disney dining?
Does the DVC member that I rented points from have to make that call? (i wouldn't ask them to do that I would just start over)
Any advice?

Your dining reservations are not really tied to your resort reservations. The only reason you need your resort reservation when you make dining plans is to confirm your are an onsite guest and are entitled to make the 180 plus 10 day dining reservations.
You do not need to do anything about your dining reservations

Correct, they are not tied together.
