First time on SWA

We returned last Sunday from WDW and used SWA for the first time and LOVED it. The flight attendants were awesome. On the flight down there was a group of unattended children that appeared to be about 10 years old and the flight attendants took a tremendous interest in them. I was very impressed. One word of caution, though, we arrived at MCO about one hour and 15 minutes before our flight home and we boarded the plane about 5 minutes before it was scheduled to leave. I didn't think we were going to make it!! The lines at baggage check and the metal detectors were worse than anything we encountered at WDW!!! I would definitely arrive 2 hours before the flight next time just to be sure.

Thanks for the heads up on leaving MCO. We usually use curb side check in, saves time, most of the time and we have encountered those long security lines. It would take less time if people would check their luggage.

2 hours seems to be the theme for flights Fri-Mon.

Welcome home! I took my first SWA flight less than a year ago and now I will not fly with another airline domestically unless I have to. I think the flight attendents are the best I've encountered, domestically. I look forward to flying with them again!

We also used SWA for the first time last month, and we plan to use them again on future WDW trips. We had a wonderful experience.

Thanks for the warning about the lines at the airport--we'll definitely arrive a good two hours in advance.

Glad you liked Southwest. I fly a lot and definitely prefer Southwest!
