hello everyone! My fiancé and I are taking our first ever trip to WDW as our honeymoon in May and we're taking our daughter with us since the trip probably won't happen again for years. It'll be a family vacation/honeymoon :)

My daughter is obsessed with Star Wars and I was thrilled that she could experience the Jedi training academy...now that it's being shut down I'm so worried she won't see her stormtroopers :(
Do you think the Star Wars characters will disappear as well or do you think they'll still be around so we can see them?

Since this is our first and possibly only time I made reservations for Be our guest, Cinderellas royal table and Chef Mickeys so I hope I've covered a good amount of character experiences so far. Does anyone have any recommendations? We're limited on money so we can't go nuts...but we have 4.5 days to spend at WDW and we're so excited!!! We got a meal plan, memory maker package, and we're staying on site. I didn't get the park hopper as it's unnecessary for us. I want to make sure this is the best experience for all of us!!!!!! Im totally lost when the it comes to the planning...I'm very overwhelmed and I'd appreciate some pro advice!

Thanks :)

Jedi Training Academy isn't closed - it was for maybe a couple months, but it recently reopened - it's called Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple.

As far as I know there is still Star Wars stuff at HS.

My biggest piece of advice is to relax and enjoy. Don't over think anything. You might not get to absolutely everything that is on people's must-do list, and that is ok. Just make wonderful memories with what you do.

Is there? Because I checked the calendar on the Jedi page and there weren't any times available past February?

There aren't a lot of things on our list - our main things are meeting certain characters, seeing the fireworks and for me - meeting Snow White because she's my favorite! I just want to make this trip memorable since I know we won't get back there for at least 5 tears or more.

Have you downloaded the MDE app yet? You'll need it to book FPs, and Jedi Training Academy is listed there under Entertainment. Also, I'm not sure what you mean by the Jedi page, but here's the information on the Disney site:

I believe that is the page they are talking about because if you try to bring up schedule times from 1/31 on, it tells you that there are no times available. Maybe they only do scheduling 2 weeks at a time, I do not know.

That's probably what it is - I saw a post on TPA&S from a CM who said that depending on how crowded the park is expected to be, they may have shows every hour or every 30 minutes.

Sounds like you have most things covered. Be sure to watch the show in front of the castle and/or the parades. They are great! Check the app for times.
