Is going in June a REALLY bad idea? We always go in May and October when most kids are in school and the weather is nicer. We pull our kids out of school to go. Well this year we went in October and December. I don't want to pull DD out of school a 3rd time so we are looking into going in June around the 16th for 12 days. What can I expect? We generally only go to the parks after hanging at the pool in the morning and stay for 4 hours or so. It isn't like we have to get on all the rides since we are there quite a bit. If I keep my expectations low will it be that bad? Are crowds that horrific? Is it that hot? I know we were there this past October and it was 90 degrees and 95% humidity! It was downright nasty! Is that what I have to look forward to?

We were always a summer family, so I'm coming from a different POV than you, but I don't mind summer. Yes, it's hot. Most of the rides are air conditioned though. An idea is to bring a misting fan you can carry around with you - INVALUABLE!!! The crowds are manageable. Since you know Disney, you'll know how to navigate around the crowds well. Be sure to go home and take a break like you do now. It really helps a bunch. Hope that helps!

It is very hot and crowded. It is still manageable though. I would get to the parks at opening and stay 3 or 4 hours then go back and hang at the pool. Then go back later in the evening for parades and fireworks. This plan worked for us and it wasn't too bad. Just don't go to late EMH parks. Our last night we went to MK for late EMH and it was nauseatingly crowded. We only stayed about an hour and then left in frustration because you couldn't move. NEVER AGAIN!

June IS HOT!! Im not going to kid and say "Its not that bad" cause it is! :)
We have been to the World in May, June, October, December, and February. I would HIGHLY recommend February or December.
