About to enjoy our 10th week-long+\- trip to WDW. WE HAVE NEVER DONE "THIS" before. I called yesterday added a day in front of our trip. Got same everything but they are two different ressies. Based on others, should I expect smooth sailing? And I didn't have to add the meal plan to the extra day so I didn't. Made a dining ressie for that night that would count as 2 meals anyway. But now we don't get the mug till "day 2".

When you check in, I would let the CM know you have a continuing stay and would like to stay in the same room the whole time. You will have to check-out and check-in again the next day (can do it as early at 6 am), but we've done this before and had zero issues.
