I have to drive my father's vehicle home from Ocala. So I thought I would spend a few days in WDW then drive north. This is the first time I have driven so far by myself.

Could anyone tell me what is a good half way mark on the trip? I want to take two days and stop at a nice motel. Also I am assuming that the best way is to just take 95 straight up the coast....

Thank you for your help

I-95 is probably the best route. A good mid-point is around the North/South Carolina border although I can't name any hotels.

My son and I drove down from Newark, DE to WDW a couple of years ago. Straight shot on I-95. We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Santee, South Carolina.

You might want to go a little further north before stopping as it's only about 7 hours from WDW so you would have another 9 hours or so to go from there.

Florence, SC is a nice stopping point heading north on I95. We usually stay overnight at a fairly new Hampton Inn at US52.
