Ok so im about to come into my 180 day mark to start making my ADR's. This will be myself and my fiancee's 9 night honeymoon trip and we plan on going all out. So i have a signature planned for everynight of our trip. Those are:
Jiko
Flying Fish
Cali Grill
Narcoosee's
Spirit of Aloha
Artist Point
Yachtsman
Hollywood Brown Derby (Fantasmic Package i hope)
Le Cellier

Now for lunch we have our favorites that we wanna do as well.
50's Primtime
Chef Mickey's (Breakfast)
La Hacienda San Angel
Tony's

So im hoping to get the most out of my DXDP but also dont want to be scheduling my day around constant ADR's. I will be doing my ADR's for all the dinners but cant decide if i should do it for my lunches? My plan is to schedule my lunches around 11:30 and my dinners around 7:00. For those who have done this before does this sound like a good plan and do you have any other dining resturants that you would suggest for lunch?

We have done a similar schedule only with breakfast. We would go for a 8am breakfast and then a 2 credit dinner arond 6pm. We would use snack credits in between for lunch.

Your restaurants look good we have done all 2 credit but Yachtsman and the Spirit of Aloha. California Grill, Artist Point and Flying Fish are all favourites. I have heard the Hoop de Doo review is better than the Spirit of Aloha.

We do this schedule on the DXDP and it works quite well. We also use our snack credits for pastries that we have as breakfast in our room. We pick them up the night before.

We like Teppen Edo, Yak & Yeti and Sanaa. We are trying The Wave for the first time in January.

Oh, I'd strongly suggest ADRs for any TS meal. I can't imagine having a good chance of success with a walk-up at any of those locations.

That said, you could always leave a few lunches "open", and if you can get a walk-up great, otherwise head over to CS or just get a snack or two instead. Any leftover meal credits can be used for room service.

As for in-park TS lunches... obviously you'd need to know what park you'd be in on any given day, and I'd work my touring plan in such a way that I wouldn't have to go halfway across a park to get to a meal.

Decent park options not already on your list:

AK: Tusker House (B/L), Yak & Yeti
Epcot: Seriously, just about anything. Depends on your taste and style.
MK: Crystal Palace (B/L), LTT, CRT (B/L)

That's almost exactly how we plan most of our DxDDP days and it works really well for us. We either have a late breakfast, 10-11ish, or a sitdown lunch, 12ish, and then a signature dinner in the evening.

As far as lunches go, we really liked the Tusker House lunch buffet. It is by far the better of the two AK options. Yak & Yeti was okay, some items were really good while others were just so-so, but the restaurant is LOUD. So much so that it really bothered our toddler, so it'll be a while before we go back there again.

Is La Hacienda open for lunch? I thought I read that during the day it is just seating for the counter service location? Epcot has so many good choices that I don't think you can really go wrong there for lunch or dinner. Most of the World Showcase restaurants are quite good.

La Hacienda is not open for Lunch but San Angel is which is where we booked. I did all of our ADR's for lunch and dinner today and got exactly what i wanted. Did some breakfast's at Chef Mickey's and Tusker House and Cat Cora's resturant on the boardwalk. Did the other lunches at mostly 11:00 and dinners at 7:00 and after so im pretty excited with this. Now the only wait is for the wedding and the honeymoon. Come on May 14th.

If you're looking for a MK lunch, try The Plaza - not the best use of a dining credit, but it's one of our absolute favorite places to eat. We have never had a bad meal there.

I have to agree with this, we tried it in September for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by it. The food was very good and the desserts were excellent. My DD wants to go back there in May for her B-day :goodvibes
