First time beach club and poly review.

We just returned from seven nights. I thought I would give you a quick review of each. We were suspose to stay seven nights at beach club,but switched to poly on our third day. So beachclub we were ground floor ,steps from epcot(that was wonderful)our room was nice and clean.the pool was great except two things the slide is rough and it is a pain to keep going back on. Here was the problem we werent on the dining plan this time and I knew the food court was small but it was awful for a vegatarian. So I looked into upgrading to club and there wasnt any available so they said we could swithch to poly and we did.now the poly.......the room was also nice and clean. We were in tahiti which was far out but still short walk. The size of the room was HUGE. I couldnt believe the difference.the pool was also very nice kids actually liked the slide better. Food court was also better. And loved wishes on the beach. So now thinking about next trip.....i liked beach club alot. Loved poly. But I am not sure if poly is worth more than twice our home resort of POR.It will be hard not to return to poly.any questions feel free.

Glad to hear you liked both - they are both on our list of must-trys. We are actually booked to stay at Poly CL in April. Can't wait!

Great review. Glad to hear you loved the Poly. It is our favorite. Haven't stayed there in about 4 years but will be returning Dec 21-28! We can't wait!

Thanks for the review . We liked the BC and had a great stay, but our favorite is the Poly for many reasons (one being the large rooms). Glad you had the chance to experience both resorts and that you had a nice stay at each .

I think poly cl would have been wonderful. Then we never would have wanted to stay anywhere else. I also think if we do stay deluxe anywhere again in the summer I am going to try Cl.

Thanks for your review! You've made me even more excited for my POLY CL stay Sept 28!!! I too tried BC CL, in FEB 2011 and wasn't wowed by the resort....I found the pool very weird configuration, I had to keep getting in and out to go to different areas! The slide was very rough, and a pain to get to. I found the CL lounge very small and cramped, I really like having a larger lounge to enjoy ....I am hoping POLY CL is the ticket for us in satisfaction I'm very excited, to say the least!!!

I also found Stormalong a bit awkward and stressful with small kids

My kids even preferred CSR pool to Stormalong
