We (me, DH, & DD7) went to Universal Studios for the first time on 12/7. First of all, the park was supposed to open at 9, and they were letting us in at 8:45. We did Jimmy Neutron, Shrek, MIB, Jaws, ET, Nick Studios tour, Woody Woodpecker coaster (not many coaster lovers in our group), etc. The park was empty for most of the day. We walked right on to most rides, and did them multiple times. The longest wait we had was for the Jimmy Neutron ride around 3pm, and that was about 20 minutes. It was also decorated for Xmas, looked very nice. Great scenery, and good characters too!

Loved:
MIB - Definitely our favorite. I think we rode it 6 times! It blows Buzz Lightyear away
Jaws - Tacky, yet scary! This was the one I wasn't leaving without riding.
Jimmy Neutron - Rode it about 4 times. DD and I loved it. DH was a little disappointed with it, but didn't stop him from riding multiple times.
Margaritaville - Great food, great drinks (yum!) and fun entertainment. There was a stiltwalker there making balloon animals and playing with the kids. They loved it and were quoting him the rest of our vacation!

No Love:
Shrek - DD freaked out with the "spider" effect in Shrek. Cried for most of the remaining movie. That we went on only once. The rest of it was fine, but that was enough for us.
Lack of kids' meals - We had a hard time finding a place that had kid's meals. We tried a couple of places, but they didn't have any. We just ended up at Mel's drive in and she had a regular size meal. I'm sure they are available, but by then, we were ready to eat.
Animal Planet Live - Wasn't much to the show. I think the clip on the website is almost as long as the actual show.

We would go there again (since I have another day left on our passes, we will definitely be back!). It was a new experience for us and it was very enjoyable. The CM's (sorry if I am using the wrong term) were all very helpful and kind. I want to head over to IOA next time, just to see what it's like over there! If you have time in between all of the WDW parks, I would make the effort to go over. You'll have a great time!

Glad you had a good time :) . Yes, definately go to IOA, even if your not a coaster fan. Spiderman is amazing. Suess landing is something you have to see to appreciate, the colours and scheming are fantastic.

GLad u had a good time u will love IOA theming and am sure kids will love seuss landing
