After 15 years of WDW trips with the kids my lovely hubby and I will be be staying at the Polynesian- We went to Hawaii last year to renew our vows for our twenty fifth anniversary - so now we're staying at the Polynesian to get the best of both worlds - Disney and Hawaii. Any suggestions or ideas for just two big kids? I can't wait! !!!!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :sunny: princess: :jumping1:

If money is no object, stay concierge level with a lagoon view. Make reservations at adult restaurants like Victoria and Albert (maybe even Chef's Table if you can get it), Citricos or Narcoossees (GF), California Grill (CR), Artist Pointe (WL), Jiko or Boma (AKL), Kona Cafe (Poly), Flying Fish (Boardwalk) or BlueZoo (Dolphin). Reserve an Illuminations cruise on the Breathless for just the 2 of you....take a bottle of wine/champagne to celebrate being together. Go to Pleasure Island and club hop (we like the Comedy Club and the Adventurer's Club especially...and have been known to sneak over to 8 Traxx to dance VERY poorly to music from our high school days!). Sleep in late, take a tour (Segway tour of Epcot sounds fun); wander WS at Epcot and actually get to look at all the shops, exhibits, etc without having to deal with kids! My husband and I went without kids one year during the Flower/Garden Festival. We had a terrific time just meandering around with little to no real agenda....hope you have a terrific time!

Congratulations on your 25th wedding anniversary....:)

Have a great trip at the Polynesian... :)

The PR is my 2005 trip I hope, always wanted to stay there as a kid, to stay there and be right across the bay from MK....:Pinkbounc :bounce:

As Catnik suggested, be sure to try some of the wonderful restaurants on the monorail circuit...California Grill, Narcoossee's, Citricos, Kona (more casual but great food) and especially V&A. We did the Chef's Table for our 23rd anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed it but I will say that the main dining room is more romantic. Anyway, it is a lot of fun to use the monorail or boats for dinner transportation.

Speaking of boats, be sure to use the launch for transportation to or from the MK or GF. Or just take a spin around the circuit. Very relaxing and fun and especially magical at night.:boat:

Every night at 9:00, the Electrical Water Pageant begins in front of the Polynesian. It's beautiful and it's tradition. If Wishes is at 9:00, it will begin right after Wishes ends.

Speaking of Wishes, catch it at least one night from the beach of the Polynesian. I enjoy the fireworks even more from the beach at the Polynesian than from inside the MK although the entire show is more meaningful from inside the parks.

Have a great and magical anniversary celebration!
