My father and brother have a reservation 9/12-9/17. I booked them a regular campsite and when it asked me to select my requests I clicked close to comfort station and a tent. Now I am not sure, does Disney provide the tent or do they have to bring it with them? I thought I read somewhere that Disney sets it up but I don't remember where I read that. So my 2 questions are:

Does Disney provide a tent?
and
Does Disney set it up?
Thanks! I have never gone camping and I am clueless about what they need.

Disney does rent tents, they set them up for you if you rent one of theirs.
However, Most people I have seen bring their own.
You would probably need to call them to reserve one ahead of time if you choose to rent one.

99% of the people bring their own tents. You can "rent" one from Disney but by the time you pay for a multi-day rental you could have bought one outright. Rental rates for tents ($30/n) and cots ($5/n) from Disney are below. They will set up the rental tent before you arrive and take it down after you leave.

(the site rate shown in the brochure is for the large group campsite only)

Here is what the rental tents look like that I saw up at the Fort recently:

Here is the interior with rental cots (or bring your own air mattress):

If you've never camped before, you might want to consider renting a popup trailer from Fort Camper Rental. They start at $65-70 per night plus the cost of the campsite. That way you have zero investment, all the setup/takedown is done for you, they are air conditioned, and it beats sleeping on the ground. But since their trip is coming up soon, one may not be available.
