First time at Poly, what not to miss?

We head to the Poly in a couple of weeks. It's our first time staying there. We have done the luau in the past and we are eating at O'hana's for breakfast. Is there anything else that you would recommend doing while we are there. Thanks!

Just take some time to enjoy the resort, especially at night. The Poly grounds are gorgeous. Plan on some time to walk around the resort, get a drink and explore. We really enjoy watching Wishes from the Poly, so much better than the crowds at MK.

I agree! I love just walking around the resort taking in the beautiful/relaxing surroundings. Have a great trip .

How old are your kids? My 2 boys liked seeing the torch lighting and doing the Ohana breakfast (they have no use for the dinner there even though DH and I love it). Fireworks from the beach, or even the pool! And we liked renting a boat (we got the pontoon) for a little sight-seeing tour.

I will add another vote for the Lapu Lapus! I get one every time I go to Disney. Walking around the resort at night with the torches is really relaxing. We enjoyed getting Sea Racers and going out on the lagoon. Walk over to the Grand and take in the atmosphere there too, it's a nice walk.

Definitely don't miss the electric water pageant and watch Wishes from the beach. We enjoy walking around the grounds; they are beautiful and lush. We especially enjoy it at night when the tiki torches are lit.
