First time at MVMCP for this WDW Veteran

We have never done MVMCP but we have done MNSSHP quite a bit. What are the special things they do? What characters are at the party? What are the things to not miss?

Is there a party map online anywhere or in the disboards for this year?

What are some things you disboarders love to do at the party?

Here are the things I have read about that are there:
*parade
*christmas fireworks
*christmas stage show

I also read that Jack Skellington is meeting somewhere? I have also read that scrooge is out?

I am a huge character meet and greet person and I love to get all the ones that are rare so any help with those will be awesome. I will be checking Kenny the pirate's list also.

This will be our first time to the MVMCP as well! Do you think we'll have a better chance ffor an A&E meet? We have been unlucky on FP angle so far.

According to Josh at easywdw, A&E still post wait times of 60 minutes throughout the party except during the Christmas Parade and after 11:15pm when they are at 20 minutes.

The line for A&E is much shorter during the parties. That's because the Princes meet with the Princesses (Rapunzel and Cinderella) on the other side of Princess Fairytale Hall.
