Hello, maybe you'll get the bug to be a
DVC owner at some point! The studios are nice, but the 1 bedrooms and bigger are highly addictive. We originally joined DVC based on using a studio on my parents points. However after staying in a 1 bedroom it was hard to go back, though we do from time to time because the studios are less points and, like I said, still nice.
One of the other things you get used to is not having housekeeping everyday. At first it's like OMG, but you realize you don't have to pre-pick up every day, though you still want to put valuables away, it's kind of nice. I fact at normal hotels I now leave the DnD sign out. Who really wants someone else going through their room every day. All they do is make the bed just in time for you to get back and mess it up again. Lol.
For BCV coming back from Epcot, there's a gate on the right along the main path after you come over the bridge where the path to BW connects. That little gate takes you around the edges of BC to BCV. It's a little quicker than going through BC to get home from Epcot. Obviously, it can be used to go to Epcot but it's easier to describe where it is coming home.
you pretty much get full Disney privileges with DVC, room charge, EMH, buses, etc. only thing you can't get is free dining plan, but often you end up paying more for the room to get free dining plan anyway.
Last while most people don't cook in the kitchenette ( though some bring a crockpot, etc.) it's great for keeping milk, snacks, breakfast items, etc. we generally use late EMH. So we get up late and don't have a lot of time to spend at breakfast so having cereal, donuts, and stuff in the room is nice.
Hope you enjoy the trip. We liked DVC enough to become members about 9 years ago!
