Well my dh and I ate their for the first time a week ago. It was awesome!:cheer2: :cheer2: We celebrated our anniversary:love: so I had arranged for a diver and personalized menus. He was so surprised! The service was awesome and the food was delicous. I had the steak and he had the crab legs---ofcourse I had the chocolate wave cake for dessert. All of it was sooooo gooooood!!!!!:thumbsup2 We are making the Coral Reef a place to get during each trip.

We ate at Coral Reef on our last trip and loved it, too! :thumbsup2

Glad you enjoyed it. :goodvibes

This is DH's favorite place in Epcot and one of his favorite in all of WDW. We'll be there again in August. I'm glad you had a nice meal!

Hi,

What exactly did you get and how did you arrange it? We're going for my parent's 40th anniversary in August. Thanks for your help!

Christy

COOL BEANS!!!! We will be going to Coral Reef for one our our dinners on our 2d night... cant wait

We went for my daughter's birthdays. I had scheduled the personalized menus and the diver. We got a wonderful view, right by the tank. Our waiter presented the personalized menus. The meal was wonderful, one of our best ever. Unfortunately, the diver called in sick. Our waiter was very good about this only alerting me. I had not told my daughters about this, so they were very excited about the menus, but never knew anything was missing. Our waiter and the manager apologized and I explained it was fine. The meal was wonderful and the service was excellant. The menus were great! After we paid, our waiter gave us fast pass for any ride in Epcot. He left it blank so we could go to the ride of our choice! Just keep this in mind, and don't be disapointed. This was just our experience. I know many plans work out great! Our meal worked out great for us. Good luck!:)
Edited to say: I called the restaurant direct to schedule the diver/ personalized menu. I received an a phone call and an email back after that from Debbie. She is so wonderful and polite.

So glad to see good reports about Coral Reef since I made our ADR to eat there for Easter Sunday dinner!! Thanks guys.

I called Coral Reef and talked to Debbi. She told me how to send pictures for the personal menu and she arranged the diver for me. Give her a call. The menus and the diver are an extra bonus because the food and service are AWESOME!!!!

Can you explain the menu and diver thing a little bit more...you know for those who are clueless...

Does anyone have the phone number for Coral Reef? Also, how far in advance did you call and make the requests for diver and menus?

Thanks much!

Hi kid-at-heart! You just call 417-WDW-DINE and they put you through. Good luck and have fun!

Thank you. I tried to search "Coral Reef phone number" and gave up. It is 3 degrees here this morning. I am so looking forward to next Dec (when we go south). Reading the disboards helps me cope with the cold.

I have made 11 phone calls and left messages and still no response from Coral Reef. We leave in a little over a month and I am guessing they wont be able to get me a diver, a cake, or menus if I cant actually speak to a person soon. When is the best time to call. I have called early am, mid am, afternoon, evening, I always get the recording to leave a message. Any suggestions?

Rumor has been passed around that the Diver may soon be something you have to pay for. They are being overrun with requests and the topic of charging for the diver service has been mentioned here on the DIS. I have no actual confirmation on this, just what has been passed on by others here. It would not surprise me if Disney saw this as an opportunity to make a few bucks though!

:thumbsup2
