First time at BCV - not happy

The room was nasty, it smells and the floor is sticky and hasn't been washed in a while. The lights over the bed tilted and I moved it up right ,very loose almost fell off.
Freezer was frozen the drip tray was stuck.
Dust and dirt everywhere.
Thank goddess their moving us.
Management is giving us $50 for lunch. Fingers crossed next room is better.
Oh and a wasp flew in the room(I'm allergic).

good luck! i have a first stay there this Nov. to check it out for my daughters sweet 16, hope it is better by then! I always here good things about it, hope that room was a fluke for you!

I think someone posted that the vinyl flooring they've installed requires some certain cleaning product that they don't seem to be using. No personal experience though.

We just completed a 5 night stay in a studio at BCV, first time here, and we had a wonderful trip with no issues!!

If you are holding them responsible for wasps flying in your room, your expectations may be too high.

The wasp was between the sliding door and was able to get in when opening.
The room they moved us to is very clean . NO dirt , no and smell and the floor is clean.
The only odd thing was is the in both rooms the microwave was damaged in the same spot(this made in tilt), housekeeping replaced it was will let management know to check all of them(could have been forced onto the ledge to hard when installing it).
The room FEELS very comfortable and I love the Resort I only wish we could stay here longer.
