Just got back from Disney today...June 25th...

I'm not going to go into any details but...

1. The crowd levels were shocking. I haven't been this time of year since the first time I went.

2. The condition of the general bathrooms by days end was perfectly awful.

3. I now understand WHY people say they wouldn't stay off site or cook or yada yada yada. It isn't so much the time it takes because as far as I can tell getting around outside the world was no different than in January. But getting around INSIDE it was much slower. If you can only do a ride an hour if you are lucky then going offsite for meals or going back to your condo or cabin to cook is going to take a big chunk of your day in total. Of course the slowness it will take to get your meal from table service this time of year offsets that.

4. Stayed in the Wilderness Cabins two nights... This was great! I wish they'd turn it into a DVC.

5. Did NOT catch Cinderellabration or Lights Action Motor Cars... I went with a family of newbies who weren't fast movers. This had some plusses as well as the obvious minuses. I got to see and do some things I had never done before because I've been moving too fast in the past to see them/experience them.

All in all I won't voluntarily pay to go from June 15th to Aug 1st but I would go if it twere free.

Thanks for your experience for this time frame. I know that there are other times of the year you can't move backwards or frontwards..........thanks again

That is why I buy a Seasonal Pass (Blackout dates June11-Aug 18) Glad you still had a nice visit.

Cool, Ft. Wilderness Cabins. Hope that was fun. I went to WDW exactly last year this time. Now granted, this was my very first trip to Orlando since 1979, so I had NO idea about the heat/humidity, etc. It is incredible. It blew us away! :earboy2: :faint:
If I ever can go back again, I certainly would --- just another time of year.
I hear you.........
