Where and how do people find out the refurbish schedule?

Secondly, if the Matterhorn is going to be refurbished in the Fall - that means it is down during our vacation. Oh well, I love it but will be back in May 2015.

Has anyone else been able to confirm that the dates have moved for the Matterhorn refurb? Honestly it would be ridiculous to have both Space and Matterhorn closed during the busy month of June. Hopefully those rumors are true and we now have a Fall refurb for Matterhorn.

We can only hope... My family and I are coming from the east coast.. And was sad to see the Matterhorn and nemo closed on our visit.. :-(
Last time we came Indy was closed and the storybook train and boats.. These are two of my top 5 rides..

My daughter would be VERY happy if it was open..

I'll be studying in LA for a month in July (I'm from Australia)... If the Matterhorn is down I'll be so sad, they were down when I last visited so I've only been on them once fingers crossed!

I actually like it a lot better now. I thought it used to be way to jerky and really uncomfortable. Now the padding helps A LOT. JMO.

The new bobsleds are WAY to bumpy for me.

IMO Disney ruined the Matterhorn ride when they changed it a couple years ago. The bobsleds used to comfortable. Now they are uncomfortable. We used to ride it multiple times each trip. Now we usually only ride it once. If that.

I know many people feel this way, but we've found the situation to be just the opposite!

We find the bobsleds to be quite a bit more comfortable now, than before the refurb., and don't avoid getting on anymore.

Maybe it's because we're packing some extra padding around back, that didn't used to be there a few years ago???

I agree...the new bobsleds are so uncomfortable. I only get to DL a few times a year, but every time I ride them, I remember that I wasn't going to ride them again The Matterhorn just reminds me so much of my childhood, so obviously I'm blocking out the memory of the pain .

I hope they push Matterhorn back to the Middle of July (say July 14th) because I have never ridden it before. Oh, well. There's so many attractions at Disneyland I've never done at WDW that it won't be as much of a downer for me.

Why do they always close the best rides in June at DL???? That's a real Monday kick in the pants!!!

I emailed DLR as my trip is in July and they actually phoned me to tell me that it had been moved to August as the other poster said. YIPAW!!!

Woohoo! My boys will be soon thrilled. We'll be there mid July and while I don't care if I ride it, my boys were bummed when I pre-warned them they wouldn't get to ride it. Yay!
