First Site Visit Advice

DF and I are going on our first site visit at the end of the month. Does anyone have any recommendations of locations we should consider for the reception? We will be around 100 people and are currently thinking of the Yacht Club. We definitely want the ceremony to be in the Italy courtyard so we are looking at some sort of a brunch/lunch meal. Thanks!

There's a ton of places. Just have an idea of what you want, traditional, cocktail, intimate or whatever. And they'll give you recommendations. I wasn't really sure where I wanted the reception, and once we started talking and she felt out what we wanted and are like, she took us a couple places, but once we went to the Living Seas,we knew that was it. I think they have such experience with people, that they can tell what people may like. Have fun, this is when it starts to become a reality!!!!

Hi,

The fact that you will have around a 100 people will a factor. Some of the popular site, like Living Seas or Ariels may be too small to accommodate your party size. Have you considered the Atlantic Dance Hall at the BW. We had our reception there although we were a small group. Usually, it is used for much larger group. Ask your coordinator.

Yeah...congrats! I had so much fun on my site visit and loved meeting my coordinator (sales manager) I think in your case Any of the convention centers (yacht, boardwalk, gf) Atlantic dance hall, American rotunda or an outdoor location like the Itraly Isola in Epcot will work. Good luck

Thank you for the suggestions - I will definitely look into them! I am looking so forward to the site visit - it's planning the wedding AND a trip to Disney - you just can't beat that!

DF was looking at pics of Living Seas and getting all excited but I didn't think we'd fit there. Oh well...if we were getting married in NY we'd have over 250 people so 100 seems small by comparison. LOL.

I know what you mean...that is why Disney is such a great option. If we had it in NY it would be the same amount of money if not more and we would wind up having like 200 people which half I have never even met Have fun....just remeber to have a good vision of what you want or exprct so Disney can help you make the best decision!
