"First rule of leadership, Princess...." ~Overdosing on Ice Cream

Have you looked at all the cruise graphics? You could make him a cruise t-shirt -- I will think some more about other ways -- my coffee hasn't completely kicked in yet.

What about a box filled with cruise related items and at the bottom of the box a sign that says when and where you are going....??? That way he has a chance to guess but if he still doesn't get it, the box will tell him. ;)

I just found you report and I am all caught up. I am really enjoying it. We purchased Annual Passes and we are going in December  for a short trip and then again in August :yay: :yay: for a long trip. Your Trip Report caught my attention because my name is Michelle, my husband's name is David and I am a Special Education Teacher. Although the similarities end there, I have 3 pirates pirate: pirate: pirate: and no princess princess:.

Hey Chel
When my grandmother got my grandfather a trip to Alaska for christmas one year she (before computers) cut out pictures of a Cruise and Pics of Alaska and glued them into a folder and gift wrapped that in a box! He was very surprised ! VERY EXCITED!

OH that sounds like a great present! VERY excited to hear what David thinks!

What a FANTASTIC anniversary gift!! :lovestruc

I think you should give him clues leading up to your anniversary maybe, nothing too obvious, but get him interested and build the excitement! :goodvibes

I'm confused.........is the cruise for this year or next year? Either way it's great!:dance3:

I'm a big fan of scavenger hunts! You could buy things at various stores/locations that relate to the ocean, a ship, a cruise, etc. Make him go to each place, pick up the gift, and a new clue.

I did this for my DH for his birthday one year. He was running all over town. I wish I had pics. It was lots of fun and we still talk about it.

:surfweb: I'm enjoying my coffee right now. I have sort of looked on the Creative Disign board but I get overwhelmed.

I'm not sure I have time to collect enough cruise related items. I'll be on the look out.

I'm seeing a lot of give him clues ideas.

The money to make the reservation is the present for this year, the cruise is for next year.

Hi! I just found your PTR/TReport...only about 2 hours ago!:surfweb: :goodvibes Absolutely loving it! Great Anniversary gift idea, too!:thumbsup2 Looking forward to more!!!:)

Wow - now that's an anniversary present! You guys are much more creative than me as far as presentation, so nothing new from me there.

We did a cruise last year for our 10th, not Disney, 10 days Panama Canal, and it was amazing. :cloud9: I went when I was younger and I think DH said ok just because I wanted to go. But he loved it! We talk about that trip all the time and are planning to do another cruise, hopefully soon, but definitely again!

You'll have to give me lots of tips.

What a great gift! :wizard: He's going to love it! The kids are going to be jealous!! Are they in on the surprise? I can't wait to hear how you make the big reveal! popcorn::

The kids are not in the surprise. I'm sure they will be jealous. I already am figuring on when we rebook while on the ship that it will be a family cruise next time. :stir:

We will be going during football/cheer season though so they wouldn't be able to go anyway.

You are cracking me up - already planning 2 trips ahead!!:rotfl:

Ok, for the reveal what about some sort of Love Boat tie in? You could have the Love Boat theme song playing while you have dinner, and if you involved the kids, Daisy could introduce herself as Julie, your cruise director, and lead you to your table, one of the boys could be Isaac the bartender and bring you glasses of champagne or whatever, and the other could be Captain Stubing(sp?) who tells him after the dinner is over that since you were such good passengers he'd like to invite you to join him and his crew for another cruise next year, at which point either you or the kids could hand David the Disney Cruise brochure!
