I am LOVING your report. Can't wait until we go in November. I would love to get my Mom and Daughter onboard with the idea of arriving so early but they would think I had lost my mind and chances of the 3 of us getting selected for such an honor are slim to none so we will vicariously through you.

I think the key for me was that my family didn't know just how early I was getting them there until we we already at the gates.

How awesome to meet everyone at once! I'd love to be able to do that too but since DH and I don't have kids, I doubt they'd pick us. Maybe we'll have to borrow DNeph to go with us.

That is just beyond wow! I'm having to really keep myself from planning the 5 a.m. morning....I've already sworn to DH (and myself) that we will RELAX this trip, do more stuff at night instead....ha!

"Good Morning, Good Morning, to you and you and you."

As we rode around the tracks with Mickey the kids told him their favorite rides, and he smiled and nodded and encourage them. Pluto was in the car in front of us and he kept things lively with his antics in front of the window. We waved at the people on the monorail, and then we were pulling into the station.

It had been explained to us to let Mickey get out of the car first since he had a speaking part, and then the dancers would direct us on what we should do.

We were directed to grab a handful of pixie dust and to wait for the countdown.

The countdown came and we all threw our pixie dust and the Magic Kingdom was declared open.

After that we were sent back through the train and down the walkway.

We were given a Magic Moment certificate and some last hugs from Mickey.

Then The First Family was sent on their way into the park.

AMAZING!!! I assume Disney took the pictures of the train arriving and confetti throwing for you? They think of everything!! What a special experience for you and your family. I imagine everyone thought it was totally worth the 7am arrival?
