"First rule of leadership, Princess...." ~Overdosing on Ice Cream

I like the couches-are you buying either one that you showed us?

We haven't decided for sure, we think the red one, but I haven't given up my hope for the black and white one.

Thanks for taking us along on even your un-Disney-related adventures! :goodvibes
:thumbsup2 Sure thing, thinking of the day in trip report form kept me from being bored.

I'm glad you tried Crush N Gusher....it definitely is a :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Jordan :goodvibes ! It's good to see you, you seemed to be missing from the boards this weekend.

I feel your pain in looking for furniture. We are having our living and room and dining room done over the summer and I am not looking forward to the furniture shopping part. I am looking forward to having new stuff, everything we have is hand me downs, but I dread the actual shopping.

Have never been to the Cheesecake factory. THe only one close to here is at the King of Prussia Mall and it is alwasy packed!

Are you remodeling or what?

Yeah, I've been extremely busy. However, I have tomorrow off....so I'll be taking it easy and Dising all day....

Yeah. We bought this house when I was 5 months pregnant with Jimmy. I was able to live with the decor at that point, becasue I was too busy with other things, and then after he was born everything just got put on the back burner. There is this god awful wallpaper in the livingroom, diningroom (which is sort of one room) and up the staitrs into the hall way. It is like a satin wallpaper:scared: It probaly would be too bad except it is a white on white paper with these weird leaves on it, except for 2 walls which are stripes:sick: THe pln is to basically gut the whole thing, redrywall, tape, prep and paint. I am hoping the messy part can be done while we are in WDW in August so that I don't have to worry about Jimmy's allergies or anything.

I will post before and after pics on TFW.

That would be really nice to miss the messy part!

"Take it from an old spectator. Life's not a spectator sport. If watchin' is all you're gonna do, then you're gonna watch your life go by without ya." -The Hunchback of Notre Dame

I limped over to where David and Aunt Pat were and re-counted my tale of pain and humiliation, which I'm sure reaffirmed Aunt Pat's decision to not partake in the wedgie slides. All three kids came flying down the slides about then and begged David to go back up with them, which he did. Aunt Pat went to sit and read her book and I was left alone hoping the throbbing pain would subside soon.

When the four of them slid down again and rejoined me, we decided to move on to the next thing, which turned out to be multi rider raft rides. Adam, Daisy and I got in one, David and Joey followed us in another. The rafts float along rather quickly, spinning in the current and go under multiple waterfalls, which much to Adam and my amusement all seemed to pour down on Daisy. This was rather a rough ride on an already tender area of my body, so I chose not to go on the one next to it, but David and the kids did. They were up and back down quickly and then we continued our walk around Typhoon Lagoon.

We entered the Crushin Gusher area and I sent David and the kids off to ride it without me. I was still feeling the affects of the atomic water enema and I wanted to just sit for a little while. Plus I had been thoroughly scared off of Crushin Gusher by DizneyDawn's misadventure on it.
Hey...You thought of me on your trip...I am in tears as we speak...:lovestruc I am glad the legend of the anus stapler lives on...:lmao:
Be Prepared to Cover Your Computer Screen

On her pre-trip report "I'll pose for pics & sign autographs"

Now don't get me wrong, I laughed until tears were running down my face at her unfortunate experience, but I did not want to repeat it for myself.
Chicken pooper
The just sitting seemed to be helping as I no longer felt slightly sick to my stomache. After watching them all coming flying out laughing three or four times, I decided to join them. However I mandated that I would only ride with David. I don't know about anyone else, but when I go on rides with the kids I feel the need to protect them. On this ride I only wanted to think about saving myself not anyone else. Also I told David he had to sit in front, I felt safer that way.

We climbed to the top, my nervousness mounting with every step. I think if there had been a "chicken out" exit at the top I would have taken it. There wasn't however, so we chose the Pineapple Tunnel and all I could do was sit behind David and hope I survived.

The signal to go came and off we went. Wow! This ride was awesome! It was really like being on a water rollercoaster. I was immediately mad at myself for not trying it sooner. The end does tend to launch one or more of the riders off, which generally results in getting dunked underwater. David and I went once more, this time choosing the Banana Tunnel which I liked even better, it had an extra drop. Crushin Gusher was a lot of fun and gets a huge thumbs up from our family!

Thank you very much. I'm waiting impatiently for an update on your pre-trippie!

I was going to post the next chapter tonight, but I'm to tired. If I wake up in the middle of the night and can't sleep I'll post it then. :surfweb: That happens a lot lately by the way. Otherwise it will have to wait until tomorrow after school.

I have a red (toile) couch and love it. Actually I love all things red. :rolleyes1 But the black & white is sassy too. IKEA opened here about 6 months ago and after driving by and seeing the police directing traffic to park in a field, I passed on trying to get in. I did read they have a good cafe inside in case lost people need sustenance to find the way out. popcorn::
