"First rule of leadership, Princess...." ~Overdosing on Ice Cream

How can she go to the cheescake factory and not get cheesecake?:confused3

Okay, I had to laugh about Aunt Pat promising you lunch if you went shopping -- Aunt Pat always has the key to making people do what they don't want to do! :lmao:

IKEA has great stuff -- thank goodness for those arrows because I would get totally lost!

Lunch looks fabulous -- especially that caramel macadamia cheesecake -- I'll take some of that for breakfast.

So, do you have to go back and buy furniture on another day? :scared:

Hope you brought disinfectant for the buzzer thingy. LOL!

I LOVES me some IKEA. Nearest one is 6 hours though. :(

Wow!!! Where the heck have I been?? How have I only just now found this report?? :confused3 I LOVE it! I've spent most of the weekend catching up and you've had me laughing out loud through most of it. :rotfl:

You've given me lots of ideas & tips for my upcoming trip. Like the workout the kids came up with. Your itinerary puts mine to shame --what a great idea to use choose your own adventure. I must investigate the iron-on shirts...a new obsession, great! Appreciate the tip on good coffee at AK. And I will most assuredly be steering clear of the water slides!!

I'm not a fan of furniture shopping either. But Ikea can be fun.

I like the couches and the chair for Daisy's room.

The Cheesecake Factory is great.

Glad you are enjoying it. I've got a new update ready to go later today.

The Cheesecake Factory is :thumbsup2

OK, so after all the raving about DizneyDawn, I started to read her pre-trippie........you're right........it is so funny....thanks:rotfl2:
Your mini IKEA trippie made me wish we lived closer to IKEA. Our closest IKEA is in Montreal. When we lived on the West Coast, funny thing is we didn't have Walmart but I went to IKEA at least once per month, still have a lot of the kitchen utensil stuff....good quality:woohoo:
The slide pic of your 3 children is really great.......definitely one to display in your new home:cool1:

Yum! I love Cheesecake Factory!
(I usually get the non-cheesecake desserts when I'm there, just like Aunt Pat)
:thumbsup2

Thanks I like how they turned out too.

Daisy was excited K. W. won. David said it was a really exciting race.
I think DH is in the other room watching it right now while he's doing the elliptical. I hear him yelling "OHHHHHHHH". I should be working out. But I'm not. :(

I'm waiting for the rest of my family to get ready to go to a birthday party.

I love Ikea! I love to just wander around in there and dream of buying a whole new room. Maybe someday...

I like the couches-are you buying either one that you showed us?

And Cheesecake Factory...yum, yum. I've only been there a couple times, there isn't one close to me. :sad2: Your meal looked really good!

They just built an IKEA about 45 minutes from my house - now I think I need to go check that out!

Thanks for taking us along on even your un-Disney-related adventures! :goodvibes

TL is one of my favorite things about WDW and it seems we only hit it once every 3 trips or so.

I'm glad you tried Crush N Gusher....it definitely is a :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

“Have you ever gotten the feeling that you aren't completely embarassed yet, but you glimpse tomorrow's embarrassment?” -Jerry Maguire

After her test run on the slide at CSR the day before Aunt Pat opted to just watch near the bottom of the slides. I on the other hand, feeling it was in the spirit of family togetherness, made the unfortunate decision to head up the steep slope with David and the kids to the top of Humonga Kowabunga.

Climbing up to the top of Humonga Kowabunga I didn't think to much about it, it was just a slide after all. By the time David and I got to the top the kids were already going down. David chose the middle slide, I chose the one on the right. David started down before me, then I got the signal to go.

I pushed off, laid back, and I was zipping along. This slide was fast! I don't recall to much of what happened as I whizzed downward, all I know is at some point the top of my tankini was blown up towards my face leaving me practically naked. That was not even the worst part though.

The final sloping descent caused the other half of my suit to form the most ultimate of wedgies. Not only that but it also felt as though I had been empaled on a large water spike and half my guts had been ripped out through my bottom. I came to a halt towards the end of the slide area in what I'm sure is the most unattractive and exposed state that I could think of. Plus, it was in public!

I quickly snatched the top of my suit down to regain a slight amount of dignity. But there was just no way to remove a giant wedgie while laying at the bottom end of a water slide, and worrying the next person flying down the slide was going to land on you. I had to stand up. I can only hope and pray that I never ever meet the lifeguard who witnessed my exit from Humunga Kowabunga.

***Thankfully there is no pictorial evidence of this incident!***
all I can say is :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:
Here is a hidden Mickey we found on our new pump house.

Too cool :woohoo:
Great pic of the kids :thumbsup2

Cool Mirror!!!
While we were waiting I had to take this picture of this poor man left in the entry way holding his wife/girlfriend's purse.

Poor guy :sad2:
Dessert was strawberry shortcake for Aunt Pat.

Carmel macadamia nut cheesecake for me.

Yummy!!!!:dance3:

I LOVE the chair Daisy picked out! Tell her she has very good taste. I've never even been to an IKEA (and don't even know where the nearest one is) but I love to furniture shop.
