I was so excited to see a post on your PTR that I thought you were back!! I just went back to the first few posts, and it looks like, unless you changed something along the way, you are doing CRT tonight at 8:20! That is only 1 hour from now! I am so excited for y'all.

I can't wait to hear about your fabulous vacation!

Chel, hoping everything is okay and you are just busy with life at home.
can't wait to read about your trip

just found this tonight! I hope that you had a wonderful trip! Can't wait for the trip report!

Chel - hoping that you are back safely and still unwinding, or maybe in that Disney Depression denial that some of us fall into once the trip is over :goodvibes. We are waiting anxiously for this awesome PTR and soon to be TR to continue :surfweb:

Hi Chel,

Just found your pre-trippie today, very enjoyable. Hope all went well and you will post soon.

I'm back! I have spring break this next week, so I've been saving the start of my trip report to start writing it during vacation. I have my last pre-trip chapter that I will post this afternoon, and then I promise to start my trip report. We had a wonderfully magical vacation!

I have lots of reading to do to catch up on everyone else's pre-trip and trip reports which will make my vacation week very enjoyable!

YEA! I am excited to read it and see all your pics! I am so glad to hear you had an awesome trip. If I recall correctly, your new house was being painted inside while you were gone, right? If so, I hope you also came back to a painted home in colors that you LOVE! :)

Welcome Back. I have been lurking here and wanted to say I hope you had a great trip.

Finally it's Friday, depature day, but I have to get through the whole day because we don't leave until 11:30pm. I woke up and immediately started running through my to do list, getting myself all wound up about everthing I had to do, all the items I didn't want to forget and was afraid I would. Abruptly I was interrupted by Joey and Adam jumping on the bed and proclaiming "It's a Disney Day!" They then began doing their Disney Dance. I had to laugh, this was exactly what I needed to remind me to stop stressing out because it was a "Disney Day."

I realized that on this day that we start our Disney World vacation I needed to keep my attitude in check. I needed to be on guard against crankiness. After all I didn't want my children to think they were going on vacation with Cruella Deville. Quickly I whipped out the camera and took a picture of their excited faces.

Then off to work I went grinning as I drove because "It's a Disney Day."

Once I was at work I was afraid it was going to be the longest day ever, the minutes dragged by as each class period slowly passed. I was starting to lose my Disney Day glow especially as 4th period began. The kids were being loud and obnoxious due to the presence of a sub instead of the regular teacher. I could feel myself getting cranky and short tempered as the Bill Nye the Science Guy video started. I was about to start handing out a mass wave of demerits, not really the way I wanted to leave the kids on my last day before vacation, when on the tv screen Epcot Living with the Land greenhouse appeared. I just smiled and my shoulders relaxed, whoo hoo its still a "Disney Day."

Sixth period, last class of the day. Would I make it through these 58 minutes? Sixth period is a remedial reading class and the teacher and I only have 8 students between us. Also we usually do something fun on Fridays, so I had brought in donuts as a treat before I left. We ate our donuts and played Disney Scene It. Hey they have to read the questions, it's educational! You would be surprised at how into Disney Scene It these sixth graders got. It was the perfect note to leave work on before vacation because "It's a Disney Day."

Hooray for a Disney Day!!!

I am the same way about being cranky when stressed about going on vacation!!! I do like you do and just remind myself to have Disney Spirit instead!

Can't wait to read more about your 11 days of magic!
