"First rule of leadership, Princess...." ~Overdosing on Ice Cream

I'd put it in the nice if you happen to be there category. I don't know if they do it every night or not? :confused3

What is the Kiss Goodnight? I heard it referred to in another trip report - but that was the first I had heard of it. :confused3

what is the kiss goodnight? I've never heard anything about it before!

It's amazing how some people think of strollers, wheelchairs and ecv's as battering rams! On the other hand, as one who's been in a wheelchair, it's amazing how many people jump right infront of you and just expect you to stop. I guess some people are just oblivious to everyone else.

I hope you got to see it again, or will get to again, sans the 'KFC' family! :rotfl:
::yes::

The Kiss Goodnight- After closing time an announcement comes over the loud speaker saying the park is closing and they are going to do the kiss goodnight. It's just a cute little ceremony with music and colored lights on the castle.

I noticed the jumping in front of the strollers, etc. too. Most people I don't think are intentionally rude, they are just self focused and intent on their own agenda.

You guys got a lot done in your MK evening! And it didn't seem rushed. DH informed me today that he would like to see Fantasmic again in Dec., which is messing up my relaxing trip! I was going to skip the Studios and relax one day and just see the resorts and RELAX!!! Aaagghh!

Cute churro pic, too! Isn't it great when you find the snack you really want?

Couldn't you relax at the resort during the day and just go to DHS for Fantasmic? Is it possible to see it on a night that there are two shows? The second show you don't have to line up very early for.

We then found ourselves walking into Toon Town. Other than our visit prior to the park opening that morning when everything was empty we had not been to this area yet. Exploring Mickey's House seemed like the perfect place to visit first.

The amount of "stuff" in Mickey's house is overwhelming and amazing. I especially liked the garden area. Adam and Daisy raced through, but Aunt Pat, Joey and I slowly strolled through and enjoyed the details.

I have yet to be in Toon Town when it is not a ZOO.....thanks for the great pix.....:thumbsup2

After we came out of Minnie's House Joey ran off by himself to explore Donald's Boat. I joined Aunt Pat on a bench across from Barnstormer. Being in Toon Town we were amongst the stroller set again and I was pleasantly surprised that there were no over tired cranky children in sight. Everywhere I looked I saw relaxed happy families. Several moms and dads had sleeping little ones in strollers, but no one seemed put out by it. Just lots of parents and children looking perfectly content to be doing exactly what they were doing at that moment.

I loved how you wrote this Michelle.........so....so.....magical.

I was glad we avoided it during the day because I can just imagine what it is like and it would make me crazy!

Thanks. I really love MK after dark.

Love this picture..Other than Jelly Belly's...Gummy Bears are my favorite...

I really only like red Gummy Bears, I think Swedish Fish are better.

I like the texture of Gummi Bears....mmm...I may have to run out to 7/11 to get some.......

Did you enjoy your time on the Boardwalk? How about Beaches N Cream? Did you all finish your ice cream?

Loved the boardwalk! I know for sure I didn't finish my ice cream. I don't think Joey did either, but I can't remember about the others.

If you ever get a chance..stay at one of the Epcot resorts.....the location is the BEST...and the atmosphere is sooooo relaxing....

If you can get into a BCV, you have a full kitchen and washer/dryer IN the room.......

Stormalong Bay is the BEST.

I don't know if we will have purchased DVC by then, we want to but we may have to wait a bit after the house is finished.
