Just wondering... what ride/attraction do you head for first?

Last time we pretty much walked straight onto thunder mountain, but then, when we tried for it's a small world the queue was 90 mins longs meaning we'd have missed a parade so we never went on...

thinking it might be an idea to head for there first off?!!?

becks

We always head for Fantasyland first and then have to pair off as eldest DD wants to ride Peter Pan first but youngest one wants to go on IASW.

The last time we went we went to the Studios first though so first ride was the Flying Carpets.

The last couple of times that we've been we headed for either Phantom Manor or Pirates of the Caribbean.

:earboy2: For some strange reason our first ride is always the Teacups.. not exactly a thrill ride but it always makes us giggle! !

Pirates of the Caribbean - every single time, and always will be I would imagine. It's the ride I enjoy the most, miss the most, think about the most and look forward to the most. I get excited as we approach and I can see the flag, then there's the music in the queuing area and then we determine 'how dark' it as the lighting varies. Then we get to the roped area and the heat really starts to kick in - lovely in the cold weather. Then we wait to board, hoping to be at the very front or the very back, and then it's off - Yoh Ho!

We have been twice now and we always head for Fantasy Land first. My kids insist on Peter Pans flight and then Its A Small World, the kids love Its A Small World the only down thing is getting them off it :lovestruc Last November they let us stay on it because they were so quiet. Then we head for Star Tours as my 7 year old son is Star Wars batty :moped:

I love it when we get there the first evening and it's dark and we head onto Thunder Mountain and go round screaming and giggling all the way! Only 10 days until we can do this again!!!

Pirates. This year we did it twice in a row to start off the trip. Fun, fun, fun!

always small world, doesn't matter how long the queue.Mums fave ride and she won't do anything else until she's been round at least twice!

I have bought a camcorder for this years trip so i can film it for her......then it will be small world everyday in my house :rotfl:

It would be a Fantasyland ride for sure - either Dumbo or Peter Pan :)

If it was just me and DH I would say BTMR

Im trying to think (which is a dangerous thing to do at this time of night) :rolleyes1 what my fav ride is and I like them all. Satr tours with my DS is my favourite I think, I love the parades the best, just the magic of them and the music, it takes all your worries of everyday life away. Thats the magic of Disney. PASSPORT CAME TODAY so Im a little bit excited, :Pinkbounc less than 3 weeks to go before we walk about like big kids for 5 days. Paul :cool1:

"Big Thunder Mountain Big Thunder Mountain Big Thunder Mountain Big Thunder Mountain Big Thunder Mountain Big Thunder Mountain Big Thunder Mountain "
Just to shut DS up :)

Jill, Do you really like Big Thunder Mountain by any chance :scared: :rotfl:
I like Its a small world especially the music etc. Paul :wave2:

Troops win the day before adults so it is Fantasyland first and normally pick up FP for Peter Pan and then hop on Dumbo or IASW.
BTM would be Diane's choice, mine Phantom Manor :goodvibes

Our first ride picked every day by DD(3) was the Carousel. Our fave is IASW.

Only been once before and I can't remember what we went on first
I think when I go in January I want to head for BTM first because the queues can get very long. If its a long wait I'll get a fastpass and head for Phantom Manor.
See ya
Blossom

BTM as the queues get so big later in the day (well they always do when we go!!!)

This year due to having Mini Mason with us ;) it was fantasy land for Peter Pan.

xxx

Our first is Pirates of the Caribbean.....and this last trip we achieved the goal of being the first riders of the day......we even have our own strange rituals for riding this, and everyone else must think we are totally nuts.....probably an accurate supposition! Our best experience to date was riding this in our halloween pirate costumes!
