First reservation confirmation letter!!

I was so excited today when I got home and got my first reservation confirmation letter for our trip to DL in May. I know I already had all the info I needed from MS, but I liked having the letter in my hand! I know this is a silly post, but I just had to share with someone and DH already thinks I am a complete nut He has been calling me the crazy vacation lady!

I'm keeping all of ours in with all my other paper work . I even go through DT on the web-sight and do rackrate for the rooms to see all my savings.

I hear you, Mikayla73! We recently received our confirmation letters for our 1st trip home to SSR and a Disney Cruise next summer and it's a great feeling to hold and read those letters!

Congrats. I thought our first reservation letter as DVC members was exciting too. We have stayed in the DVC resorts for several years and just bought in this year, so this will be our first stay on points.

BTW, my DH thinks I am a crazy planning nut too, but last year when we were waiting to be seated for our dinner reservations, we saw they were turning away the walk-ups. This was the third night we saw this happen. That night, my DH turned to me and thanked me for all of the planning I had done and has never said a word to me about my “obsession” again. He now proudly tells our friends that I am a “Disney Encyclopedia”. I’m not, of course, as I still learn lots of new things daily here on the boards, but I just wanted to say once your DH makes a few more trips with you, he may view your hobby in a better light.

OKWMom - He has appreciated my planning before. It all started when we took our cruise last Nov. I knew where everything was and what to expect, so he was glad. I think he secretly likes that I am a planner

We got our first confirmation letter in the mail yesterday as well. What a nice feeling after a long day at work! Now if only the next 10 months would go quickly...

Hello fellow Devils fan!! Now we have 2 things in common, DVC and the Devs!

I just fondled my reservation letters for November and December while I was looking for something else in my DVC file. Sometimes I just go on the Member Website and look at my trip profile. It can really brighten up a hard day at work!

We paid a lot of $$ and work really hard to be DVC members-we deserve to revel in it once in a while!!

Hello fellow Devils fan!! Now we have 2 things in common, DVC and the Devs!

Nice to see a fellow fan! Season tix holder the last 5 years till this year. Expecting our first baby in about 7 weeks so I cut down to a weekend partial plan. Can't wait for the season to officially start!
