Hello,
This is my first post on this site but I have been reading since I first started planning my family's trip a few months ago. We live in Easley South Carolina and are leaving after work on Friday Dec 14 driving as far as we can on this day and completing are journey the next day. This will be the first trip to the world for every one in are group (me, wife, four year old son, father-in-law, mother-in-law, and there adopted 7 year old girl) as the days drop off the calendar we are all getting more and more excited about the trip.


I have found out a lot of helpful information about the trip on this site and would like to think every one that post on this site for you help. I will also be posting a few other questions a little at a time so any help will be appreciated.

You should be able to make the trip to WDW from Easley in one day, I'm only 3 hours from Easley, just outside of Charleston and we make it down to WDW in just about 7 hours, including stopping along the way. Have a fun trip!

I just returned from Disney a few weeks ago. I'd been before, but this was my first time to take my daughter (age 3) and it was AMAZING!! She loved meeting the characters and getting their autographs. We used index cards so that I could put them with the pictures in our scrapbook. Have a wonderful trip!!
