First post - some questions

This is my first post, so apologies if any of these questions are stupid ones!

We (me, wife, kids who will be 9 and 6) are planning to go to DLP, staying in Hotel New York, in July/August (going a Monday to Friday).

I've had a look on the Disney site and on these boards, so I've found out a lot already. However I do have a few further queries. A couple relate to wheelchair access (for my son). I appreciate that there is a specific disability board on the forum, however the posts in there seem to all relate to US parks.

1. Wheelchair access - I know we can go to guest services (or whatever its proper name is) for wheelchair access passes and that these will provide wheelchair appropriate access to rides. How many people will this allow on a ride i.e would all four of us be able to go on at once, or would my wife or I and my daughter have to queue seperately?

2. Obtaining a wheelchair access pass - do DLP accept photocopies of documents or do they require the originals? I ask because we might fly rather than drive or train. If we do we will need to leave the original blue parking badge (which would be my son's proof of disability) in the car if we parked at the airport, we wouldn't then have the original to take to DLP.

3. Extra Magic Hours - am I right in thinking these are 8 am to 10 am? Is that every day in peak season If so is it feasible to go into the parks for the EMHs then go back to the hotel (HNY)for a late (more leisurely) breakfast? (My kids get up early but even they might complain about being up, dressed, breakfasted and out by 8am!)

4. Railway station - how far is the on site railway station from Hotel New York? If we arrive late in the evening on the first night, is there (wheelchair accessible) transport to the hotels from the station? Or would we be better off booking a private car transfer from the airport directly to the hotel?

Many thanks in advance, any help and information will be appreciated!

Welcome to the boards julesdis :)

Not sure about the wheelchair access, but I can say from the station it's about a 7/8 minute walk. Really not that far. Just on the other side of Disney village.

With the breakfasts we have done the good morning fantasyland breakfast (GMF) before. I've never been in a year but presume they still do it.

It means that you can get your breakfast at 1 of about 4 restaurants in the park instead of coming bak to the hotel. Unless you want a break of course ;)

Hi Julesdis,

Welcome to the Disneyland Paris Trip Planning & Community Board :goodvibes.

We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each

If you have not had a look yet, DLP posting rules are here

yes you can do EMH then go for breakfast at the HNY, its about 10 minutes walk from the gates of the parks through the Village back to your hotel. Breakfast is served until 11am or just after at the onsite hotels. You don't get the option of breakfast in the park if you're staying at the HNY, as that would be classed as a downgrade on the breakfast provided at your hotel. EMH is usually on every morning in July/August.

Sorry I can't help with wheelchair access etc from the train station to the hotel, or within the parks. Hopefully other kind members here will be along shortly to advise on those aspects of your trip planning :).
