Hello everyone. So excited to find this forum. We are heading to WDW next Wednesday. We have gone about 3 times a year since 2001. Our autistic son (20 y.o.) knows it is getting close and can't wait. He also can't wait to see his sister, who works in Tommorowland.

We're hoping to take Drew to Disneyland next year, but aren't sure if they are as special needs friendly as WDW. We use the green pass, which is more limited than it used to be but still a big help, and FP+ at WDW. Since Disneyland doesn't have FP+, we are worried there might be longer wait times there.

Thanks. All of the cuts that I've been hearing about doesn't make me real optimistic in the short term, but if she sticks in there, hopefully it will work out.

Welcome to the board! I've found it's a great place to enjoy some Disney magic even when we can't be there. Hooray for your upcoming trip!! Since I can't get to WDW very often, I live vicariously through all those with trips planned. LOL!

I'm not sure from the bolder part if you are talking about the old program with no longer exists (GAC = Guest Assistance Card) or the program that replaced it (DAS = Disability Assistance System).

The DAS gives you return times that allow you to wait outside of the line.
Near the top of this board, you will find a specific DAS thread for WDW and another for DL.

welcome to the dis royandwalt :)

disneyland still has the old FP system there so you can still get FP you have to do it the day of instead of a few days before.

I was going to ask the same thing but sue beat me to it.
