First night

Was wondering about suggestions for the night of arrival--won't have passes yet since they won't start until next morning.

Thinking about dinner and fireworks--where could we have dinner (resort) that wouldn't require use of a pass but would allow us to see fireworks? Prefer something family oriented. Arrival day is June 3 (Sunday)--what time should I request PS for fireworks (or Illuminations)?

There are many things to do at WDW without passes. Here are a few suggestions.

**Make Priority Seating arrangements for 1900 Park Fare, a villians dinner, around 7:15/7:30. When you are done with your meal, walk around the resort a bit. Check to see what time the MK fireworks are for that night. At the time they are to egin, head out to the GF beach. You should be able to see the fireworks. After the fireworks, there is the electric water pageant that goes by the GF. Here is a web page: http://www.wdwig.com/ewp.htm

**You could also head to Downtown Disney and have dinner st the Rainforest Cafe. Make Priority Seating arrangements. The you could walk around the shops.

**You could also head over to the Boardwalk Hotel. They have many restaurants to choose from.

'Ohana at the Poly has a great view of MK and its fireworks (also the nighttime water pageant) from inside the restaurant, which would make for a tantalizing start to your vacation. It's a great place to go unless you're vegetarian. They only have two veggie items on their menu (see wdwig.com). You want a family-oriented place? The word 'ohana means "family". They even have activities for the kids.

I checked the official WDW website and they say the MK fireworks start at 9:30. That could be a little late for you, but you could eat and then watch the fireworks from the beach or whatever. As for Epcot, their fireworks start at 9:00, and the Boardwalk would be the best place to eat. (I love Spoodles.) Where are you staying? Since you'll be tired by the end of your first day, and you won't want to have to travel too far to crash for the night.

If you eat at 'Ohana or California Grill in the Contemporary, you can see the fireworks from inside the restaurant, so it doesn't matter when your PS is. If eating at the BW to see Illuminations, give yourself plenty of time beforehand so you can find a good spot after dinner.

A ride "up front" on the monrail would make a great start for your trip. We did that last time on our first night then went to Chef Mickey's for dinner then to the rooftop of the Contemporary to watch the fireworks.

There are a million ways to have fun as long as you are at the WORLD !!!!
