first night???

Hi everyone!!! Newbie here. I'm having fun reading all the posts and getting to know a little about US/IOA. Staying onsite (at HRH )with husband and two teenage girls.We are arriving on a sunday afternoon.Any suggestions for first night fun? We will be there 6 days... also doing Seaworld.Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

I don't know what most will do but as for me it will just be me and DW this June cause the DS's want to stay home this year
So we will be arriving on a sunday and we will just see a movie at the theater at citywalk and a nice dinner and just walk around cause we love just taking in the sites which our kids don't cause they love the parks and want to hit them as soon as we get there but to be fair I am the same way

We'll go over to Citywalk for lunch or dinner depending upon when we check-in. Afterwards, if its early, we visit the stores; otherwise, we'll grab a seat outside Margaritaville and relax while watching the people leave IOA.

When we arrive late afternoon we try to hit the parks for a least one or two rides, have dinner, a swim and an early night. That way were ready to go the next day.

We arrive early on April 2nd (flight gets in at 8:30 am). I figure we will leave the luggage at the desk, take our pre-packed "swim/pool" bag and take our tired selves (me, DH, DD (20 months) and DS (5) to the amazing pool and eat ice cream until the room is ready!
And maybe we'll take a couple of pictures while were at it!
Since we get FOTL passes from HRH we intend to do half days at the parks and half at the different pools. A relaxing theme park vacation....The best of both worlds.
Can you tell I'm excited?

i check into the hotel and leave my luggage with the valet.

i hit the parks until my room is ready..
check in time is 4:00 at the hotels for your room sometimes.

once my room is ready, i return and relax for a bit.
later, off to dinner at city walk.
