First Night At Disney...

as long as we dont get delayed, we will probably head to epcot (staying at the swan) to get our AP's acivated maybe grab a pzza from the boardwalk for dinner, nothing set in stone though, will see how we feel hen we get there. The first day I only ever plan half a day and then leave the afternoon for a swim nap etc, as dont know how the jetlag will effect us or the boys.

Evening of arrival is usually Downtown Disney
First day and departure day is always Magic Kingdom
This has become a quite a tradition over the years and it would not feel the same doing anything different

We're with you on that!
Have done MGM on a first day, but prefer to do MK where we have the "ceremony of hat buying" (must have a new hat each trip!)
On the last day, as we leave MK we go up to the train station in Main Street, stare at the castle, then close our eyes and wish that we will come back one day (worked every time so far!)
Couldn't imagine doing a non-Disney day on the first or last days.

Last year we went to Publix on the way to the resort, had a CS meal there and just chilled in the room before flaking at 9:30pm! Don't think i'd ever plan anything for the first night that couldn't be done later in the hol just in case of tiredness, though I may consider a park evening next time as I felt like I could have last year (couldn't as we needed the 14th day of our ticket for the last day)
