I went to see The Monkees in Fairmount Park in Philly around 1983. It was only Davy, Micky, and Peter. No Mike, which was a bit of a bummer because he's my favorite Monkee. The show was cute, nothing to write home about as I recall.

As kid with a girlfriend - Loverboy & Joan Jett concert in the 80s - didn’t tell parents as was not allowed to go to concerts -
As kid / circus once - super cool as we never got to do stuff like that / DF got free tickets is only reason we got to go - it was super cool

According to my mother, Mr. Rogers on stage when I was 3 or 4. I don't remember.

The first one I can remember is when the Pope, John Paul II my mom took us to the parade. I don’t remember anything besides the fact the crowds were HUGE, and the fact he was in his Popemobile. We aren’t Catholic, but I guess she thought it was worthwhile to see history.
