Today was AK. We had a ps for Donald's Breakfastosaurus for 8:30 am. We went straight there and checked in about 8:15. We got our picture made and a CM offered me some coffee while we were waiting. (yes, there is a God.)

About 5 minutes later, we were seated. Let me tell you, I really loved the breakfast. Maybe it was because I was about Krispy Cremed to the max (see part 1) (Can one ever have enough Krispy Cremes?) Well, apparently not, because our waiter informed us that Donald's is the "only place in WDW where you can get get fresh Krispy Cremes that are delievered every two days!" ooooo ahhhhhhh. . .

We had our fill of delicious eggs and bacon and other yummy things. Donald came and signed his autograph "Donald Duck #1" I just love that. It fits perfectly with his character and also with the whole new Mickey's Philharmagic thing, don't you think? We met Goofy too, but Mickey and Pluto never got around in the hour we were there. Oh well, we saw them both at Garden Grill, so it was ok.

As soon as we left breakfast we went to DinoLand. No, we aren't like most. We have seen the safari many times, and we just don't kill ourselves to get over there. We also didn't want to spend the greater part of the day wet, so we also didn't ride the Kali River Rapids. So the next best rides are in Dinoland! We hit Triceretops Spin and rode in twice with about a 3 minute wait. Then yes, ladies and gentlemen , Nicolas hit the 48 inches mark this trip! YEA! He got to ride Primevil Whirl! I love this ride and was so excited to share it with him. He was ok with it, but didn't love it. As soon as we got off, we went straight to the carnival games. Lost the first one, but Nicolas won the second one all by himself. The first prize he has ever won all by himself! He was so proud of the orange and pink turtle he won.

Next we went to see Tarzan Rocks. I havn't seen this since 2000 when we went without Nicolas. So I thought he would love the skating. Either I don't remember it well, or they changed it. There was very little skating. It wasn't anywhere near as good as I remember. But we did get a great view of the construction work on the new Mount Everest ride across the way while waiting in line.

After Dinoland, we hit Camp Minnie Mickey. We met the Brother Bears, and had a family photo made with Santa Goofy. Met Mickey and Daisy with no wait as well. Then we lined up for TFOTLK. Well, folks over the last 3 years, I have been to see this show 7 times. Out of the 7, FOUR of those times we have been seated and then the show has been canceled due to technical difficulties. Could someone out there please tell me why this happens so often? Or is it just happening when I visit? That was very disappointing.

We saw ITTBAB after that. Nicolas tolerates this show, but he really hates the Spiders. I let him sit in my lap so he doesn't feel the sting from the hornets or the bugs exiting at the end so he agrees to do it. Please folks, if you have a little one under the age of 5, do NOT take them to see this. There is some scary stuff in this show.

Next we went to see Flights of Wonder. We have never gotten around to seeing this show, and we were very glad we did. It is really interesting and amazing. Go see it if you never have, it is well worth your time.

We ate lunch at one of my favorite places - Flametree BBQ. mmmmmmm. I love the sandwiches and corn and the onion rings are to die for. I was happy that it was open and sometimes when we have been it has been closed "seasonally."

After lunch, we let Nicolas play in the boneyard. They have a dig that looks like a sandbox, but upon closer look it is very fine gravel that barely gets you dirty. I have read that it is called "Texas Grit." We always let Nicolas play here when we are ready for a break. It is in the shade with lots of sitting area for parents and cool fun music is playing. It is also a nice place to get some good photos.

We went back to the room to rest until about 6pm. Then we headed back to the MK. This was the only time I really had to wait for a bus. We waited while all the other stops had two or more buses come! Finally, after 25 minutes, ours came. I don't know what the hold up was, but that was the only time we really had a wait. We staked out a spot around the circle when you first come in and I believe I have found my new favorite viewing area. It didn't get crowded like it can on the main strip of Main Street. We talked to a really nice couple from Chicago and their cute little 6 yo daughter while we were waiting.

Spectromagic was different from when we saw it in June. They didn't end with the traditional patriotic float. There were I believe 3 new ones. The last one had an animatronic Jiminy Cricket on the back. We thought the change was really good. Then we saw Wishes. OH MY GOODNESS. These fireworks were amazing. Stars, and hearts and I never in my life have seen firewords timed to the music so incredibly well. I really don't know how they do it. Of course, Tinker Bell still flies, but it is a bit into the show before she goes.

MK was open until midnight, so we stayed out late knowing that we would get to sleep in tomorrow morning. But even though it was 11:30 when we left, the lines really didn't get down too much. I did only have a 15 minutes wait for Dumbo. We left a Koda Bear on the green one, in case any of you found it. Merry Christmas to some kid. Oh well, we bought another on the way out. We went back, but nobody had turned it in.We rode Carosel of Progress twice and the People Mover again. THIS was the BEST! You see, the TTA (or People Mover as we call it) goes through Space Mountain. and it was broken or something and ALL THE LIGHTS WERE ON! It was SOOOOO NEAT to see the inside with all the lights on! Nicolas was amazed that this was the ride he had actually ridden just days before. I was so glad we decided to stay just so we got a chance to see that.

Around 11:30 we went back with a very short bus wait. Ah - tomorrow we get to sleep in!

A very busy and fun filled day for all - can't wait to see Wishes for myself - thanks for posting!
