I totally agree with the bolded part above. I don't think there is anything cute about trivializing sexuality to 6 year olds or 9 year olds, or 15 year olds. Once up on a time we protected our kids from things they were too young to understand. We relished their innocence. Now days we clap to them shaking their butts to songs about sex. It says something very sad about our society.
And I've seen several people comment that their kids don't understand what it means anyway. But with today's readily available technology its only a short keystroke away on google.
You sure are using a lot of "we"s in your post. Who exactly is "we"? As far as I can tell, no one in this thread ever said "I clap when a kid shakes their butt to a sex song". I certainly don't do it. I doubt very much from your posts that you are doing it. You (along with others in this thread) are making a lot of blanket statements about other people because of the actions of one parent with one disruptive 6 year old kid. I don't get it.
