This will be our first trip to WDW as a family. 2 of us have never been and the other has not been in years so we are so excited . We will be there Sept 7-13, 2011. I am just wondering if there is going to be anything for the Sept 11 anniversry? We are an EMS family and it would mean alot to us if there was something special for this day.

You picked a wonderful time to go (very sad anniversary aside)! My family always used to go in the beginning of Sept. right after school began and the lines simply VANISH save for the most popular attractions. You'll have a GREAT time!

I too come from an EMS family and unfortunately I have not read anything being held for the anniversary- at least not in the parks. Perhaps there will be something very simple at the hotels? I'm sure Shades of Green will certainly do something!
