First Experience with FP+ not a good one.

Actually, it's much easier and quicker to pick the times that are the complete OPPOSITE of what you want. So if you want morning FP times, pick the evening times at first. Then click to modify. Change each of the three rides to the times you want.

The reason this works better is this: Say you want FP for Space Mountain at 10am, SDMT at 11am and Peter Pan at 12pm. You login to select FP and it gives you SDMT at 10:30am, Space Mountain at 11:45am and Peter Pan at 1pm. You think to yourself, "ok, that works for me, except I don't want to jump between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland like that. I want to flip SDMT and Space Mountain." You click on SDMT to modify it, but it won't allow you to take a time slot similar to your middle time slot, as it shows taken by Space Mountain.

Pick times that you don't want, and it's easier to modify to times that you do want. It's far more flexible.

THANK YOU! I have not yet used the system (Monday midnight will be my first experience). You provide a great recommendation! Not sure I would have thought of this as I was preparing to sign-up... thanks for sharing your wisdom! :thumbsup2

Good point. For the most part it gave me times I could have lived with had I not been able to move them. I started to make sure the rides were in the order I wanted, even before it assigned times. At least one of the preset options it gave would have worked as it was. Usually I was left with only 1 that needed changing

It may have taken a bit more moving things around but I still had no problem adjusting my times and ride order by starting out with times I did like. What I did was check times for each ride and if there were lots I'd move one to late in the day, just leaving it there long enough to swap the others around and then moved the last one to where I wanted it.

But either method works. The main point is you can move them around later.

Very true unless, youre trying to book A&E for a larger group, then I would go for that one as close to optimal time as possible and move the others. Also, when you modify your times, the system often is more restrictive around ADRs.

The system sometimes gets overloaded around midnight eastern because you have people trying to make their initial selections as well as people just leaving the parks trying to push back times for selections they have for the next morning. If this happens just try again early the next morning and it should work fine.
