You know your kids. When we went in October '13, I kept going back and forth on this issue. My son just turned 5 and my daughter was 6. I knew my daughter would be OK, but my son can be lazy, he would ask to be carried walking through Target after 5 minutes.

Finally, I decided on the wait and see approach. We were going for 9 days. I would see how the first day or two went and if he whined, I would have had a stroller delivered to the hotel from one of the off-site providers.

He never complained once or asked to be carried. Now, I will say we did a leisurely pace. We hit rope drop every morning, would do the parks til 2-4 and then go back to the hotel for a dip in the pool, then dinner somewhere. Only a couple night time activities, because it wasn't worth it to overtire the kids and we knew we'd be back in a couple years. The only time my hubby carried him was after the Electrical Parade when the crowds were crazy and it was just easier.

For us, it worked to wait and see, and we didn't need one. But if he would have complained or whined, we probably would have gotten one.

how much walking do your kids do on a daily basis? We had a 3.5 year old and a 5 year old on our November trip. We brought our nice "umbrella stroller". It's an Uppababy so high handles, very easy to maneuver, reclining seat. It worked wonderful for the 3.5 year old. The problem was that the 5 year old wanted to rest much more often than we expected. And our family is the commando type of family. If you are a relaxing, go with the flow family you can get away with a single nice stroller and just take more breaks. If you want to go go go like we did I would bring something that allows both to sit at the same time unless your DH is fond of piggy back rides?

As far as what I'd recommend for strollers I personally hate cheap umbrella strollers, they hurt my back from leaning over. I also would not go with side by side double stroller at Disney. They are very difficult to get around the crowds in my opinion. I've never used a citi mini but everyone seems to love them. Or go with two single strollers? Can you borrow a nice single stroller from friends? Or hit the consignment shops and look for something that has tall handles and is comfy for the kids (some sort of padding, not just a single layer of fabric.
