If you give us your cell phone number we can give you an "emergency" call during dinner. :scratchin

My thoughts too. Between all the purse stuff and the shoe stuff, I'm amazed I still have hair on my chest. :laundy:

Lets see, maybe we can discuss cars. Did I mention that my first car was a Porsche? :car:

My first car was a 1971 Chevy Impala that my Great Aunt gave me. She drove it very, very few miles and not at normal speeds so when I started taking it out of town to work on the highway, one night I blew up the motor :sad2:

Ok, not really blew it up, but broke nearly every rocker panel and push rod in it. Dad said since it was Aunt Betty's car it needed to be fixed  I didn't want to fix it, I wanted to junk it. Dad fixed it and it died again not too long after that :thumbsup2

My first car that I bought was a Toyota Corolla for $350 out of tip money (I was a cocktail waitress). We called it the black bomb. It looked like it had bullet holes in it, but it ran.... for as long as I needed it to. I got a newer car at the end of the semester.

my first car was a white cavalier RS - not really a sports car by classification but it sure looked like one.

my younger brother took it up to the store to buy something on christmas day for my mom 2 months after i got it and when he came home he gave me an early christmas gift - a pc of paper with someone's ins info on it - he - my brother - smashed into this girl

i told him to find a better way to pick up some chick.

boy was i mad but he paid to have it repaired and the girls too - so no blemish on my ins.

1986 silver mercury topaz.

Parents surprised me with it one day after work. Then they dropped the bomb that I had to pay for half of it. The loan was for 18 months and was $126 per month. I guess it was their way of making sure I stayed working. One thing was for sure, because I was paying for it, I took good care of it.

My first car was an old MGB, British racing green with tan leather. I bought it out of the birthday money I had been saving my entire life. I LOVED that car!

wow - you're either an amazing saver or had some really really nice grandparents LOL

i could never save - good thing banks give out loans (well not anymore ;) )

My first car was a red Nissan Sentra sports coupe. I loved that car. There was no room in it though. I had to get a car that I could actually put stuff in. My best friend had a fight with her then BF, now DH in the theoretical back seat. That was a fun drive.

My first car was a 1985 Volkswagen Golf. It was my Mom's old car but I loved it just because it was mine.

I think I was just so excited to be able to go places by myself that I didn't care what kind of car it was. I was happy to just have a car back then.

Now I have a Toyta Rav 4 - love it!!!! It's the best car I have ever had!!

My first car was a seafoam green 1970 Olds Cutlass SS. I loved that car...it was a hunk magnet!

Okay, my really first car was my dad's Chevy truck, but I crashed that.

My favorite was the Olds, but my second favorite is my Dodge Ram 1500 QuadCab I have right now. I could live in my truck. That may be a good thing.

My grandparents always gave me savings bonds so I couldn't blow them for years! LOL Smart, huh? The car itself was $3,000. It was my entire fortune. But convertables are sooo worth it! :snooty:

I have been changing all of my luggage out. I have been buying Dakine. On my trip earlier this month the lady who checked us in on our AA flight said they make the great luggage and bags. I was happy to hear that. Here are a few pictures of what I have.

I love this bag! It has a pocket for my laptop.

This is a rolling hard bottom duffel. The inside has different mesh zip-up compartments.

My large duffel. This is a great bag. The top has 3 compartments. One is a cooler, one is lined so it can be wet the other is a regular large compartment. The bottom is designed so you can put a wetsuit in it. It is lined with water proof material and has air vents.

This a small everyday duffel.

My first car was a yellow 1980 PINTO with red and black racing stripes. I bought it myself in 1981. It had been a Hertz rental car. Can you imagine renting a Pinto?:rotfl2:

Here is my first car a 1980 Datsun 310 GX. Not the greatest picture. I had to take a picture of a picture.

My first car was a 1980 Orange VW Rabbit. We called it the "band-aid" because it had bondo strips all along the bottom of it.

It was incredibly small but after a few weeks I figured out how to undress out of my work clothes and redress into my going out clothes while driving.

It had no air and it smelled like screwdrivers... the drink. The owners before me spilled a thermos of screwdrivers in the back seat. Old Vodka smell on a hot day is gross!!

It was a stick-shift. When I went to take my drivers test, the tester guy told me I was the only girl, in all the years that he had been testing, that took the test with a stick... and passed.

My first car was a puke brown 1973 Chevy Nova that was previously owned by my father's friend who had died the year before.

My Dad said when I drove it into the ground, he would co-sign for a new car. The damn thing would not die. Even in sub-zero degree weather with snow up the ying yang. I would stick a screw driver in the carborator and it would be the only car in UNH's main parking lot that would start!

All this purse talk is completely out of control! George, Aaron ,Jeff help me out on this! I blame this outrage on Don!!!!! pirate:

I'm just trying to find a nice gift....so I get nice gifts in return! Like I can buy another gun!

1984 Olds Cutlass Supreme loved that car...until it rusted out from the inside. 1800 bucks...
