M' thinks AskTracy is a bit fickle.

:rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2:

I just don't think AskTracy wants us to know where she's staying until she's sure we've all gone home! :lmao:

Tracy, I'm not sure if it's comforting to know that you are as unsure as I am about your plans, or if I'm scared because I thought you knew all and were sure of everything. :)

AskTracy is just too busy to plan this right now. I've priced out Pop Century and the rate is great. Gotta figure what's happening with transfers though. Also, if all of you book the rooms at the Dolphin, I won't be able to be there so it's a waiting game.

Your DH and I share a birthday! :)

I know ;)

Will they celebrate DH's college graduation? :cool1:

Yes.

By all means, I hope this is what you decided to do. I wish I had read them that way. Then, once you get into New Moon, stay determined. Don't get too depressed and bogged down in the middle. The end is worth the struggle.

Eclipse is my favorite, personally.

Yes I am reading Midnight Sun before New Moon - I like it so far. It gives me a whole new perspective on Edward and everyone else.

My last catch-up post, I promise!

DVC:
We own 160 points at VWL. We should have bought years ago. (We started visiting WDW yearly in 1994 (our honeymoon).) We finally bit the bullet, but insisted that our points be VWL points - our favorite resort. It's the best decision and investment we've ever made.

Our plans:
Phillip (DH) and I are flying down AirTran early on Saturday morning. I think we get in at 9:30 a.m. We're doing DME from the airport. (As I mentioned earlier, we're being lazy this trip.) We're staying at VWL that first night. We'll be hitting the MK during the day and definitely doing the Poly/Wishes meet and greet that evening.

We're going to use DCL transfers from VWL to the ship and then from the ship to BWV for our post-cruise stay. It's our first stay at BWV and we have a Boardwalk view room! I'm so excited about that.

We'll definitely be participating in the DATW at Epcot on Friday night.

DME again back to the airport. We fly home early Saturday evening.

I usually have everything figured out and finalized with all ADRs made months in advance. I haven't planned one aspect of this vacation yet! We're doing US this time. We've never been there before. I don't know anything about how to tour that park or where to make ADRs. When I get back from WDW next month, I'm gonna tackle these things head on. I've kinda been focusing on the cruise part of the vaca and not the pre-cruise part. Hoping ADRs won't be difficult to get wherever I choose to go. Anyone want to offer anything to give me a headstart?

I don't exactly know what we are doing or how we are getting there... all I know for sure... is I AM GOING ON A DISNEY CRUISE!!!!!!!!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

My entire family lives in Melbourne. I would be disowned if I traveled to Florida and didn't visit them. I don't know how much time they are going to want to spend with us before and after the cruise. I know we are spending at LEAST one day at the World before we come home.

I am pretty sure we are going to park our car (if we drive) or the rental (if we fly) at my cousins or my aunts house and have them drive us and pick us up from the Port.

My DH worked for United for 10 years (he was laid off in June) and has some passes left. We are trying to decide if we should take a chance on flying standby on Mother's Day weekend or if we should just drive. That is the toughest decision right now. Fly or drive. Fly or drive.

Ahhhhhh
Thanks for that this morning! Just what I needed!
Happy 40th- I turned the big 4-0 last year, wish I had celebrated it like that!
Glad to see you had a wonderful time!

Thanks. Happy late 40th to you also.:) I am happy I went on a cruise for my birthday. It made it fun to turn 40. When we got back from Florida and walked off the plane it was a shock. It was 16 degrees. I turned to my BFF and asked if we could go back to Florida.;) I am watching the cruise video now. Oh how I wish I was still on vacation!

We have never had school closed for the temperature. Before we left on vacation it was -13 and -26 with wind chill. How cold it where you live?

lol Mindy!

i guess i need to read Midnight sun online then. I didn't realize that. I started New Moon a few nights ago. with my crazy work schedule, 14mos and caring for my BF staying with us after heart surgery, i barely have time to read.

cheerleader here......but i was shy (still am!!!), insecure and nerdy somewhat for all intensive purposes. Actually some of the most popular kids weren't cheerleaders and I didn't fit in with them at all. I much preferred the 'nerds' in my gt classes- just more down to earth and actually more fun. another friend of mine and later college roommate was a cheerleader with me and also in band- she would run and change clothes right before halftime and then change back to cheer. lol I also played soccer and still have as recently as 2 years ago in the over 30 league. :lmao: :rotfl:
