This is a list of how many posts everyone who has posted on this thread has. Some of us (cough, cough) are a little competitive!!!

Fairly early, 8:00?
8:00am would be good for us...gives us time to get back to the room, collect our stuff, check out, and head to the ship! :cool1:

8:00 AM?????

If its that early, I would have to think about it a tad more. I'd have to be up pre-dawn to start getting ready and load up the car. Then go to breakfast and wind up at the port way before I wanted to. Or what time is check out at the Dolphin?

I think check out is at 11:00? So you should be ok going back after breakfast and then leaving.

You also have to remember the drive to the port (without traffic) is about 45 minutes!!

I figure breakfast would take us about an hour-ish, right? If we're walking from the Dolphin...we would need to leave by 7:30am...so maybe we make breakfast 8:30 or 9:00am?

If we did 9:00am, give us an hour to an hour and a half to eat...that would be 10-10:30am by the time we're finished...and then head back to the Dolphin to check out and leave for the ship! That would still put us at the ship noon-1pm-ish...I think...right?

How about 8:15-8:20? The more I think about it the less likely I will be able to sleep the night before anyway....
I'd be happier with the 8:15-ish...but that's just cuz i'm an overachiever...:rotfl:

I can agree with 8:30!

The problem is though - the later you get to the port the longer it takes to check in because of the line. Everyone gets there around 12 or 1 so the line will be realllly reallly long!!

I always like to be there early because of this. Besides you have time to get on the ship, scope it out, relax, and eat lunch before the crowds hit!!

Just a thought!

Yeah, if it goes like that, then I guess 8:15 will work for me. Should I add it to the Event Roster? I took the liberty of adding DATW on Friday to it, although no time has been established.

HAHAHAHA i'll say - wrote that post, submitted it, walked down stairs and back up and theres alreayd over a dozen posts after LOL

ohhhh i see some people are going to be jones'n for their DIS fix on the ship :surfweb: :lmao:

I will yield my choices to those whom are experienced. So I guess tell me what time I should show up...

Brandie, you want dibs on organizer???

I also agree that earlier for breakfast is better - I'm really excited about this trip - I got my airfare booked this weekend - it suddenly feels so much more real!!! :cool1:

I don't plan to rush to the port, but I want to board as soon as I can...to start my vacation! I probably won't have much in the way of carry-ons either...except our booze and a few things. Don't want to be bogged down carrying stuff around until we can go to our cabin! We'll probably be renting a car and driving ourselves as well...

So who's up for breakfast on Sunday morning?
I think that is what we want to do too- we want to be on a decent time and beat some of the crowds, but we don't want to rush and be first either. Plus I might have a hangover....:rotfl:

We would be up for breakfast- it is mother's day on Sunday, so i bet many restaurants will be crowded for breakfast- we had thought about just grabbing something fast at the Boardwalk bakery maybe? they always have yummy stuff! What else did you have in mind?

edit- Cape May sounds great- we haven't done that one before. i'll talk to the crew about it.

I'm sure we'll have to cut off sign ups at some point...i'm not sure how large a group we can book an ADR for. Anyone know?
