I didn't think there was any "single couple" dining at dinner seatings unless you did Palo. I thought it was tables of around 8 people at a minimum or four couples.

I'd like to know if Tracy does the seating or if it is left to DCL. I guess we won't know the answer until she is done chasing rainbows. :goodvibes

I can wait. That's more important. ::yes::

I know when I asked Tracy she linked my sister's ressie with mine and told me we would be sitting together at meals. I think Todd is right unless you are linked to someone it is up to Disney.

I'm taking a road trip to Florida. We had such a great time being away for the holidays last year we decided to make it something permanent. We are driving down, but stopping a lot along the way. First stop, overnight, in Lexington, KY. Second stop 2 nights in Savannah. Third stop at the in laws in Stuart (west palm beach area) for 4 nights. Then off the Key Largo for 4 nights and finally over see my Mom in Naples for 3 nights. Then off for home with a couple overnights stops on the way.

If you need any Savannah info, give me a shout! :)

Lauren, I found you on facebook!

:yay: I signed up forever ago but haven't kept it up. Thought I would give it another shot.

How is the dining set up? Do we know who we will be seated with for each night? Can us DISers decide who we are seated with? I actually think it would be fun to pull DIS couples/families out of a hat to sit together. Probably not logistically possible but an idea nontheless.

 Fluff it back up

I understand the rotational part of the dining Jen. Thanks. It's the "Who you sit with each night" part that is unclear. Does DCL put together the parties at each table for each night?

You can group your ressies together. DCL does the actual seating chart and then as you rotate you keep your sames servers, so they probably don't want us switching around. I thought what we might could do, maybe, is link all of us that wanted to be and then we would be sitting near each other in the dinning room though not all at the same table obviously. I thought that may get annoying for the other dinners if we were yelling across the tables to each other, but I imagine we can try to hold it together and act like adults. That would be something Tracy would have to get together for us.

If my memory serves me correctly, on your KTTW card, your dining rotation is printed on it.

Aren't we all grouped by Tracy? I understand if the rooms are linked, you would probably be guaranteed....I'll be quiet now. Jovin hates me and doesn't appreciate humor.:sad1:

We can link you together for dining. I caution against this unless you are planning to dine at Palo together until after everyone is done making excursion and Palo reservations. Otherwise, this can be a nightmare for you. If there are more than 5 reservations linked there is one set of issues. If there are less, there is another set of issues. The best thing to do is to wait until end of February before we start talking about this.

As mentioned before, we will link people that want to be linked. It depends how Disney is working it at the time, but in the past they had us give them a list of who would dine together. Again, this will not even be considered until late February. If you want to dine with someone for Palo, please let me know this before your date to make reservations so we can link you then.

Oh, and don't email me about this until next week please :)

Do you know who we are???!?!?!?!?:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Sorry I have not been around too much this week. My grandma was put in the hospital on Tuesday and it was not good there for awhile. Things are better somewhat on that. She has a laundry list of this wrong the latest is her kidney's are only operating at 15% and she needs to have a surgery to do dialysis one way but she is not strong enough to survive the surgery so now they are going to try it through her arm. Oh and add to this I had my finals this week as well.

Other than that I am starting to enjoy my temp job. Very nice people and not a bad company.

Awww Becky...I'm so sorry you're having to go through all this. I know first-hand how difficult it can be. Any updates on your mom's condition? Please take care of yourself and remember that we're all hoping and praying that things get beter for you.

Sorry to hear about your grandma. I hope she is doing better? It sucks to go through that. Take care.
