You guys are making this more complicated than it needs to be. If she wins, you would win too. If you won, would you want to be surprised?

Does it matter? One of you is going to win a cruise. I'm not certain exactly who will be in the pool, but one of you is going to win so lets not make ourselves crazy about how it is going to work.

unfortunately my mom has to eat early to take her meds, so we have to do the early rotation. anyone else doing it?

Yes, it will be a lot of food, but it's the best of both worlds too. We both want to do Palo but then again we don't want to miss any of the fun in the dining rooms. This allows us to do both!!

There was a TV show on the Travel Channel yesterday and a tip they gave was: "You don't need to eat all the food. Sampling everything is fine, but you'll end up miserable if you try to eat three entrees at one sitting."
So yeah. Sounds fun!

There are many on the early dining rotation. As I mentioned before, we are going to wait until after the booking date for excursions and Palo for any linking because this will cause you problems if you are linked. Unless you want to dine at Palo together, in which case it should be done before the booking date for you.

So maybe that's a plan for us too..to do Palo a bit earlier, and then still do the dining rotation. We don't have to eat each course...maybe an appetizer and dessert or something...but at least that way I won't feel like i'm missing out on something!

Do we have any New Yorker here? I'm planning a trip to NYC in the summer with the kids and booked the Doubletree right on times square. Anyone wanna give me advice on what to do, where to go and neat places to eat. I have kids that will be 10, 8 and 4 at the time.

We were just in NYC and ate at Max Brenner. It is the most amazing chocolate place you will ever go. It is right on Union Square. There is one in the Village somewhere, but I have never been to that one. I used to be a Serendipity fan, but I found them to be very kid unfriendly since I have gone there with kids.

My favorite thing at Max Brenner's is the chocolate fondue. We got one called Sharing and it has little samples of some of the deserts. And you get a fondue with banana, strawberries, and marshmallows. You also get a sterno to roast the marshmallows at your table. It was really fun.
