I just had to go and 'clean out' someone's computer. After lunch I have to wipe it. I hate doing that. It always puts me in a sour mood. I hate more that someone was let go.

HHHMMM, that sounds intriguing. At this point I have booked a town car for me. Judy I think is using Mears shuttle. And we are both using the DCL transfer. I have never driven from the airport to Disney or around Disney property. And when I am on vacation, I have found I like someone else to do the driving.

The extra expense is worth it to me. I figure with what I would spend on the rental and parking it probably works out to be close to the same amount. At least that is what my head is telling my wallet and that is the story we are sticking to.

I am renting and staying at the Radisson the night before. They offer free parking and a free shuttle to port.

As of right now, this is what we are doing too. My DH has some reservations about leaving the car at the hotel... he would rather park at the port and pay $60.

My cousin offered to pick us up from the hotel and take us to the port and have her hubby drive the car to her house... but I don't know if I want to rely on her. Thinking about it makes me

Ok - cruise question.

Can I drop DW off at the port terminal with our luggage for the porters first then do the Budget rental drop off myself? Is that preferable? Am I saving myself anything? Thanks.

Yes you can do this. We never do because I usually am driving and I want to be the one checking us in

I will have passengers arriving at the port, should I stop and give our baggage to the porters, drop off the peeps and then park and walk back to the terminal?

This was discussed on the podcast yesterday. Yes, you should drop off luggage and then park.

I could be wrong, but I can't see a reason you could drop off the luggage and both go to the car rental place. That is if you don't want to be separated.

Also, if you do the online check in and leave your passport with your DW she can check in and get your boarding number. I have never done this, but on the cruise boards they say it is possible.

I see I did forget. I will check on this. I'm not sure how it can be handled. Like someone mentioned, there is the resort fee and parking if you will use it so it wouldn't be able to be prepaid completely.
